@xxxhannahgoldxxx Hardly. Back then in many European countries, and especially Asia, it was considered disrespectful to make noise , etc. during a performance. It was called respect. They were there to listen, and watch. U should watch some concerts from Japan, from back in the day. I think they even would eject people for certain acts that we took for granted back then. You'd really be shocked I can assure u. I've heard some real hard rock band members talk about how freaked they were over it.
what happened to the original video of this song (at the beach). I'm guessing she had it removed...she never really liked that she "flashed' herself in the video wearing a bathing suit....
Guess she's still creeped out over Kim Fowley and the way he mistreated Joan and the Runaways. That DOES tend to leave a mark. Guys like him are the reason we have the MeToo Mafia today..... .....and tomorrow.
This looks like it might have been done for a television broadcast, possibly live. When this is done, different rules apply. That would explain the lip synching (too much liability to perform it live in that situation) and what appears to be a pretty quiet crowd. That said, they may be a much louder crowd than it appears, since they probably aren't using the audio from that room. it sounds pretty much exactly like the record, including parts that would be tricky to replicate live in a small space with few people.
