@@madameshadow357 you’re truly the kindest person I’ve met online and I hope you know how much of an amazing person you are. Sadly I play for my friend who’s the engineer/producer so I don’t have any of them I just play my guitar and get paid which is fine with me as life is way too expensive in Iran and I have to take care of family. But other than that I upload the weird songs I make on this account and I’m hoping to recruit a female vocalist soon (let’s be honest females have a better range, not being sexist just honest😂) but I’ll try to get a sample from my friend and will upload it for you to see. I don’t wanna disappoint you man❤️🤘
It must be very hard to be a Rock singer. Specially for women. They have to be twice good, twice strong to show they are GOOD. Unending blessings for her. I'd like to listen to her music. Greetings from South America ❤
Hilarious. They don't have to be half as good. Men absolutely love women singers. They just don't want to hear them whine about about crap. All women have to to do is not use the platform to be sexist pigs and they are home free just like everything else.
Really? So what about all the woman before her? Girl groups like the supreme or ronettes, singers like dolly parton tina turner sandy Shaw eretha Franklin janis joplin, cher.
@@paulwilliams819she has written a lot of music too. And if you take a listen it’s great. I like her hits but her other stuff is even better. You don’t know what you’re talking about.
@@yo1198she literally wasn’t. She was turned down by so many record labels just for being a woman. She was in one of the first all female rock bands. It was extremely rare to see a woman rocker in the 70s.
She is the only reason I tried and got hurt and quit, then tried again and quit, and again and cried, and again and quit, and tried again and quit. She is such a strong woman. I admire her strength beyond belief and can't imagine what she's been through. But I love her!
Joan has my utmost respect because she fought through her battles of following her dream and through it all has become an icon in the music industry!! Would love to meet her some day!! ❤️
ME , TOO!!! LOVE HER MUSIC , LOVE ❤❤❤ JOAN JETT , FROM SATATE OF MAINE , WLD LOVE ❤❤❤ TO MEET HER , GREW UP WITH HER MUSIC , ,, LOVE THE SONG "" DO YOU WANNA TOUCH,""" ALL HER MUSIC IS AWESOME , STILL LISTENING TO HER MUSIC 6-2-24 YEAH❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@fuchsiaswing8545 she’s written songs before and made history being in an all female rock band. She’s the real deal. She ain’t manufactured, she genuinely wanted to be a woman in rock and people doubted her. Woman can be rockers too, you know. She may not be the greatest, but she’s a badass and she’s a good rocker. She’s up there. She’s made music history weather you like it or not. Also….Elvis never played instruments or wrote his songs. And he was adored for his voice. I do love Elvis, but at least Joan Jett plays her own instruments, puts a spin on every cover she does, and has written music before. I only made that comparison as an example that other artists have done less, not that there bad. Not saying either or is better than the other, Imma fan of both. Just saying.
@@livvlife Elvis was not a virtuoso musician, but he played almost everything and possessed an excellent feel and ear for music; he was always in command of what he wanted from his band, always conducting and more than capable of holding his own in a jam session. Conversely, Joan Jett is not anywhere near his plateau, not as a singer or musician. She might look the part, but it's more than playing dress-up. My rant has nothing to do with the legitimacy of girl rockers. I love many, dating back to all-girl garage bands in the 1960s.
Dreamed of what you did back in 70’s ( I was 11) and came to the States alone after 5 years, still, you are great woman to me gave us courage! and I’m still here married to an American man and we both went to see you in concert. Love you, Joan!
You Are In My Heart Forever Joan. I Am Sorry For All You Suffered. You Are An Angel. A Legend. My Respect To You. I Love You Forever. Joan Jett Is Rock N Roll❤
I am 62 years old now. I listened to your songs when I was young. When I was weak, I loved to hear your songs that brought me strength. I was not smart but I wished I could be as strong as you. I deeply appreciate your songs and your spirit. I hope you are healthy and happy every day.
Joan you fought, so we could run. You are someone I would like to meet someday. Thank you for being your rock n'roll self! ❤️🔥 Rock n' roll is therapy, it's art. You are iconic in status, Joan Jett 🙌
Siempre quise ser como ella ...te escuché en los 80 cuando no llegaba la musica con videos a Suramérica tan facil y me cautivó esa potencia de voz... esos sonidos de guitarras y baterias...sigues espectacular eres una valiente
Blessings on you sweet Joanie. Reality is very painful. The foolish think & believe they have whatever... To change it or make it be what they want it to be! Doesn't work that way (as you've found out). But through it all, you've left a mark which will endure. And countless others are blessed through & because of your battles, determination & suffering. Thank you dear one!
It is nice to see Joan's vulnerable side, although l am sad she got so hurt and had 2 be tough l admire her and wish l had continued with music l hope u r enjoying all your success now
I loved Joan from a long time ago I saw her with Def Leppard and Crue and she blew the boys off the stage ! She was a pioneer in a male dominated world of rock and roll! She kicked down the doors that kept getting shut on her and the runaways and the black hearts ! So she started her own label out of a uhaul van and when bad reputation came out and I love rock and roll! Went platinum the record companies lined up to sign her but she made them agree to her terms not the record industry’s bullshit contracts ! I met her when we were on tour in the 80’s and I was like a little kid around her she was a absolute fun person to be around but if you do something stupid she’d kick your ass and tell you why she did it ! Love you Joanie YOU STILL ROCK 🤘🏻🤘🏻!!
As a guy, I never thought it was difficult for female rock artists in the music industry. I only heard one song from her (without knowing who she was), and it only took one song from her to make me fall in love with her music. It would have been a waste of talent if she had never had the chance
Makes me want to hug her. Saw the Runaways in 1977 January with the Ramones at the Aragon Ball Room uptown Chicago. My late beloved sister Rita Lee Green was there, fun night. They rocked. Joan Jett is a cool chick😊
The Queens of Rock. Joan Jett & Pat Benatar. In the crimson & Clover song by JJ. She was so pretty in the close ups. She did some hard living. PB Also very pretty. 2 women who broke the mold. ❤
Joan, I feel your pain. Please don’t ever forget that because of you and the runaways, you started and made a path so that other female artists won’t have it so hard and that they are actually going to be able sing because of you. I don’t know if you’re going to read this… ahh I’ll tell you my story,, back in 1986 I got my first cassette player, I ran to the record store and got your cassette. Because of you I wear black eyeliner and black leather jacket. I’m so excited that I’m FINALLY going to see you in concert in Nashville Tennessee at the bridge stone arena, I’m flying from Chicago to Tennessee. I’m so dang proud of you, congratulations on being inducted into the rockin hall of fame, it’s about time. I’ll be in the the sixth row with my black Blinking hat so you’ll be able to see me, lol. I always sing I love rock n roll with my friends…. If you see the blinking hat, 6th row center…. Call me on stage to sing with you,,, make my life 🤩 My name is Tarrie * thank you for never giving up ((hug))
