I have always thought that those hairs we have on the face, neck, arms or anywhere else (first of all most of the time they aren’t that visible) are actually there for a good reason: protect your skin. I do shave my legs bc I love the look, but I have always thought it was weird to shave your arms

It also stinks that depending on your skin tone laser might not be an option, I wanted to laser my facial hair/fuzz off, but my skin is so sensitive and olive toned and not pale, that even at the lowest settings, a patch of my cheek got burned. Definitely look into what options are best for you and if you have colored skin make sure where you go is used to having clients with colored skin. It took over a year to deal with the hyperpigmentation from the burn and when I was my face it still sometimes gets flushed just on the patch that got affected (is the right one to use?), just living my best fuzz life now~

corbyns problem is a real one; i have a friend that his facial hair grows super fast too, hes clean shaven in the morning but then by 12 theres some stubble and 5oclock shadow coming in haha. i think its cool though, too bad idol images dont allow it. on the other end another friend would have no issue with that, he gets minimal facial hair and it still comes in super slow even though hes in his late 20s

I've done around 8 sessions of laser hair removal from 2019 to 2020 (in a clinic, with an apparently good device) but my hormones are still like 💞no💞

I like this topic then I get the new knowledge that each people, each country has a standard about remover body face is important, because I got the opposite with all of you. I grow up with around me, it is not really suggestion me to shave my body hair, upper lips hairs and my face hair. I thought if all people around me give that suggestion, I will do it too because I don't wanna get bullies

I’ve had a couple of hair appeared on my chin lately (like only 2 years ago). Getting older 😭I am a woman so that’s very distressing to me haha. I might laser it when I have time/money. but wonder if it worth it, if it just comes back 😅

Body hair is natural. There is to much pressure to be like a baby or a naked mole rat. Also why would you shave your arm hair? I agree though the pressure to remove hair starts young like as soon as puberty hits 12 years old. The problem with removing to much hair through tweezing or waxing is that it damages the hair follicles so the hair can’t grow back. Like if someone takes off to much of your eyebrows. Now the trend is fuller eyebrows and people fill them in. In the 90’s it was thinner brows so a lot of people over tweezed. I’ve had people take off too much when I told them I wanted just a small amount taken off. Trimming and trimmers are definitely a good option for grooming without the need to extract hair. I just wish women wouldn’t be shamed for having body hair. We are still feminine with it. It’s so ingrained in our culture that it needs to be removed. Also men look hot with a 5 o’clock shadow. Different people have different amounts of hair depending on genetics abs health conditions. Men should be able to grow a beard or facial hair if their genetics allow them to. It looks good as long as it’s trimmed up. Also women have peach fuzz on our faces. That’s normal! When women go into menopause they are more likely to have darker facial hairs grow because estrogen levels are lower and testosterone is higher.
