This video is made out of Love and Respect for Joanna and the Yeates Family.... RIP Joanna #truecrime #joannayeates #realcrimestories Some of the information used in this video is citied from Wikipedia
In my opinion the creature that killed this poor girl should never get out of jail. Also I just want to say how well presented your channel is. You always show the upmost respect for the people you are searching for.
Christopher Jeffies was treated so badly by the press. He was the Landlord and retired professor who lived in the flat above Jo’s. He was eccentric and the press just painted him as the villain. Christopher was 100% innocent and yet his life was turned upside down by the press and public opinion. The rightful killer is now in prison. RIP Jo.
I was living in Bristol at the time and remember how sad and shocked everyone was by this awful tragedy. Her poor landlord was vilified in the press despite being 100% innocent (and by all accounts of my acquaintances who knew him, was actually a lovely man). Lovely to see you leaving flowers for Jo, I hope her family have found some peace and happiness in recent years.
Rest in Peace Jo.... what happened to you was horrific. The landlord suffered horrific abuse due to simply being eccentric, I felt so sorry for him away back at the time. Thank you for leaving her your beautiful flowers. Such a touching tribute 😊😊❤️
My heart went out to this poor young lady and her family a decade ago and it still does. RIP Jo. Thank you Paul for showing such empathy and sensitivity.
I remember the nasty things said about the landlord in the papers , typical UK press ! . Great video btw, I love the crime files as well as the famous graves, keep up the good work 👍
I lived in bristol all my life and i worked in the BRI hospital in the centre not far from clifton. I was terrified to go to work after this incident god keep her safe in ur loving arms. Such a wonderful informative video thank you and i was very touched to see you leave her flowers very kind and decent of you GOD REST JO xxx
This case was heartbreaking. I recall them arresting the wrong neighbour and he was guilty as charged by the press and some people who knew him. Disgraceful what they did when it was the weirdo with a girlfriend who had done the awful crime and mostly for sexual gratification of some warped kind. Jo lost her life because of a pervert. Twenty years minimum wasn't enough, as hes a threat to women whatever age he is when released.
Thank you Paul for covering the story of Joanna. I did not know her but I'm a Bristolian and followed & still remember her case/story. This was close to home as Joanna was only 3yrs older than my own daughter and we both worked at the time in a hotel down the road so The Ram was one of the pubs frequently visited by us. My heart breaks for her family, joanna had her whole life ahead of her. I hope the family is one day able to find peace. Joanna is remember in Bristol sadly by her untimely end rather than the lovely person I gather she was, but she is remembered. Love to her family/boyfriend/friends & Thank you Paul for being so respectful & her beautiful flowers.
Hello Paul, such a very sad story! In my opinion, that evil man that killed Joanna should never ever be released. I think that he should never be allowed to enjoy a free and happy life. It was very thoughtful of you to leave the beautiful flowers on Joanna's grave.
Hi Paul, I recently discovered your channel and I've been bingeing! I live in Dudley, West Midlands and here in Dudley Cemetery you'll find the grave of Duncan Edwards, who was one of the 'Busby Babes' (Man Utd). He died from his injuries following the Munich Air disaster in 1958. There's also a statue of him in the towns market place. Loving your channel, keep it up!
Hi Gail , my Late Dad ( A Life Long Manchester United Fan from Manchester ) travelled to Dudley to visit Duncan's Grave many year's ago and took Pictures of his Headstone ( A Tall Black Stone if Memory serves me right ? ) There was a Glass window in the Church with Duncan sat in his England Shirt too i believe ??? My Mum still has the Pictures , is it true Lenny Henry's Mum is buried just in front of Duncan ? I'd be Grateful if you would let me know ? Take care of yourself Gail 🙏🕊️ from Carl BEST ( After George ) Turner 👹 🇾🇪 🏴 .
I love, Love, LOVE that you sometimes leave flowers at the gravesite. In addition, the compassion and sadness for the more tragic stories is so genuinely palpable in your voice.
Thank you for this video. I never heard about this young woman's murder probably because I was a 1st time mother to a newborn at that time. I will now watch the documentary in honour of Jo' and will pray for her soul. Sending love and condolences to her family. As for her murderer, 20 years is not enough. It should be life in prison.
Thanks Paul, as always you told her story with great respect. Poor Joanna she suffered a horrible death. May she continue to rest in peace heart. Your commentry at the end was spot on
A truly sad case, and being at Christmas really rubbed salt into the wound. Thank you for being so respectful, often in these sort of stories the victim is overlooked for the story of the perpetrator, and, imo, the victims deserve more.
Very respectful video and I remember this all over the news, saw a documentary too some time ago. You could have called him a pathetic coward as that is what he is and indeed the same applies to any man that harms women whether.physically or verbally, nice of you to leave some flowers for her too.
I live In Bristol and remember this well. Such a waste of life of Jo, and her landlords life will never be the same again too because of newspapers. Touching video and words . Thank you Paul
Hi Paul remember that case such a tragedy young girls life snatched away for no reason good video m8 handled with great compassion take care stay safe 👍
Thank you the story and tribute. I’m also in USA so I hadn’t heard her story before either. I know we can’t just lock ourselves in our homes and be fearful 24/7 but we certainly have to be cautious no matter where we live and maybe carry pepper spray on our keys. Can’t state anything on other more forceful means but if that’s your idea, than so be it. World going to Hell in a handbag 🤦♀️. RIP miss Yates 💐
You really made me think about things in this vlog. Would I feel safe walking around all these graveyards on my own? No I wouldn't. I was thinking about buying a narrowboat recently and I decided I would feel too vulnerable. Thank you for sharing! x
Hi Jules, I know horrible things happen, but most of us are fairly safe in our day to day lives. When I tell my stories it’s never to make people feel afraid. I hope you still get your narrow boat, I’m sure it’ll be an amazing community and lots of people watch out for each other. Live life to the fullest. 🙏
Don’t give up on a narrow boat the river fellow boaters are the most friendly people they look out for you, mour yr boat everyone chats park yr car nothing please feel safe it’s fine really live yr dream x
Hi this is the first time I have commented on your channel.I have watched a lot of your videos and really have enjoyed watching them.I remember this lovely young lady story, and you have told it so well and respectfully, the flowers you got for her were a lovely touch it brought a lump to my throat.May Joanna Jo rest in peace, and I hope her family are all well.Such a very sad story to tell, and I could hear and see how it had touched you as well, thank you for sharing it with us.❤️❤️
Another great video. Rather like the recent Sarah Everard case, I remember the Joanna Yeates murder having a deep impact on the nations psyche at the time. It really hit hard due to the circumstances. Thanks for the opportunity to remember them.
Thanks Paul for another well told story respectively done ..poor young lady, having her life taken away like that. In a ideal world, woman should be able to go where they please and do as they wish,.But we don’t live in a ideal world unfortunately ,and there are beasts out around ..they possess no scruples about attacking girls.....
what a lovely gesture from you to give Joanna flowers ,remember the story well and how sad she was found on christmas day so very very sad ,RIP in eternal rest joanna xx
Poor girl who's life had hardly started and sadly meeting a lunatic. The jail sentence cannot make up for what he's done. No rational person can understand why you would take another person's life. A recent news story shows the murderer has been moved to Winchester prison from Yorkshire and his sentence was a minimum of 20 years. He should get a whole life tariff. Shame there is no death sentence
Just started watching your channel, great content and well told. Lovely gesture leaving Jo flowers 💐 such a sad case, her memory lives on RIP Jo may your wings fly high ❤️
Hello Paul, great video mate on such a tragic story, a nice tribute to her especially when you laid the flowers, you certainly know how to make me cry, all the best, Lee.
This is so incredibly sad and upsetting. There seems to be so many beautiful women killed for no reason, it's utterly sickening and why can't we do something about it? it's just horrific and very very sad indeed. A tragic waste of a life for no reason whatsoever. I hope someone gets to the guy in jail and ends him in a very painful way.. bastard! (The way you did this video was really good and very respectful, thank you!)
Awww so lovely of u to take flowers. Iam a domestic violence survivor. After 5 years I fled in to refuge week after he killed himself and recorded him self dying on a dictphone tape I firmly belive and so does womens aid if he had found me I don't think I'd be here now . May she rest In peace so sad . I dont understand sensesless killing I really don't. But going through domestic violence as I did you know people are capable of nasty evil things scary world. Thanks for sharing her story so she's never forgotten ❤️
We all felt we knew Jo. Because we saw the dreadful pain inflicted on her family and loved ones. Their Christmas was cancelled and their perilous wait for news. Then the dread. I and others often remember her at Christmas. Utterly sad. Her beautiful creative life truncated, cut off. A sudden painful Tragedy. Its her parents, partner and close bonds pain and therefore we must always remember victims like Fun loving, innocent unfortunate Jo. Well filmed with kindness and empathy.
Thanks so much for your respectful video, such a lovely gesture to place some flowers at the grave. I could hear how emotional you got when you were telling the story and paying the flowers, a truly sad waste of a life.
This is really sad how she went through this horrific crime. I’m Dutch myself, never knew of this case in the Netherlands until now. 20 years is nothing actually, so he will be released in 8 years. Thank you for this video.
Paul handled with compassion and sensitivity. I’ve watched a couple of programmes on this poor girls story He knocked on her door and being neighbourly she invited him in and offered him one of the ciders she’d bought. As he never gave an explanation it was surmised his motive was sexual. Joanne fought for her life but was no match for him after killing her he drove round to find some where to hide her body and then went shopping to establish an alibi. He then went with his girlfriend back to his home country for Christmas. Police managed to contact him by phone to enquire had he heard anything as his flat was back to back with hers. It was him that pointed the finger of suspicion at their landlord saying his car was facing one way and when he got home he noticed it had moved and was facing another direction. Because of this Mr Jeffries was taken in to custody his home searched his car taken away and his picture in all the papers who named him as a suspect. He may look different but he is a highly intelligent man owns the two large houses renting them out as several flats apart from the one he lived in. The poor man’s life became a nightmare on the say so of the real killer. Mr Jeffries successfully sued the papers and was payed a great deal of money in damages and was issued an apology from the police. And as we know Tabard was found to have committed the crime and after pleading guilty was given life. He took Joanne’s life he ruined her fiancée life . He ruined her parents and brother lives and the landlord had his life ruined also not to mention Tabards girlfriend life. All these people were his victims. RIP Joanne with the Angels 👼now.
As ever excellent video Paul ! Your right it’s good to keep the Spirit of the person ( Joanna, in this case ) alive v sad thanks again Paul RIP ‘Jo’ 🙏🙏
Just found your channel and have been having a watching marathon. Great content well done and you are very natural in front of the camera. Subscribed. 👍
Paul, your visits are so interesting and you have empathy for victims, you make so much sense in what you say. Thank you for helping us not forget people that have suffered. Rip Joanna bless you xx
Tabac was welcomed into Jo's flat on the pretext to borrow some sugar or something, chatted a bit, then he tried to kiss her. She was like 'back off' then he flipped. I could tell this was hard for you, but you did her memory justice. The flowers you put on her grave was such a sweet thing to do, a reflection of the sweet man you are. Your partner is very lucky to have you x
I stumbled across your site and can honestly say that it’s so interesting , you show respect and integrity for the people who have passed I applaud 👏🏻 you buddy
Scary part in our life is that someone can look normal but inside they are pure evil. And you only notice when they picked you for their sick minds. RIP Joanna 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
