I heard this in Browning when I was out at star school in 99 and it had been my favourite. And years later, I have been looking and looking for this! I found it and such a blessing to hear one of our elders singing in our native language and such a beautiful voice and song. Thank you for the upload. 🤗
Touches my heart and soul, awesome. My late mother Joyce Weasel Moccasin's favorite song, she was and still a huge fan of Joanne's music. Joanne is from the Blood Tribe, AB Canada one of the four Blackfoot Tribes within the Blackfoot Confederacy. she went to school with my older sister. The first time I heard this song, my mom played it for me, the song moved me and still does. Today I was feeling lonesome and googled her name for some reason, it made my day.

Remember the time, remember the moment and hold it always in your heart and soul, and cherish the words of song, and sing them often and when in good n bad times, these songs have brought me through so much in my life, I still sing, though I haven't the voice, but to God ears, it sounds like pure gold, the true whorship
I love this song. It brings back some awesome memories. Katrina Running Rabbit & I were coordinators for the Blackfeet Youth Search Program of the Little Flower Parish in Browning, Montana for 20 years. There were a lot of older ladies that worked with us to put on a Search weekend for the youth of the Blackfeet reservation. I think about all them wonderful ladies including Katrina and my mother, are all gone home to heaven to be with Jesus. I miss all of my old women. This song makes me cry everytime I hear it.

Praises God, bk in 1996 when I first heard this song. I was 7-8 months carrying my first born son, RK. I was traveling with my late oldest sister, a.k.a. "Kinch girl". She told if I was tired to lie down in the van that our Dad had lent us. This song was playing wen it was over, I opened my eyes n didn't notice that tears were coming down my face. PTL loved this beautiful touching song since. Pray that this song touch's someone the it's touch me. GBU all 💖🙏
i will pray for you, i was down that same path and it is not easy coming out of abuse and all the negative stuff but you can do it, i have been clean and out of jail since 1990 and i had nothing left, only my soul and i didnt want that sometimes too but jesus took me by the hand and my life changed and never has been the same, life is not easier but i have my rock and nothing can shake me...
thanks for sharing... I just lost my gran a few weeks ago. my sister and i used to listen to a tape that my gran had of Joanne Storm whenever we'd go traveling with my gran and grandpa. We'd play it over and over during our 14-16 hour road trip. i never thought i'd be so heartbroken when i couldn't find the tape at her place. When I listen to this song, it brings me back to those days
We lost my brother Brandon December 9th, 2011 They buried him a week before x-mas on the 17th. Today is his Birthday. I miss him every single second of every single day. The day i found out my world had changed forever never to be tbe same again. I am from the Blackfeet Nation which is a sister reserve to miss joann. I love you Brandon M.R. we will see each other again in heaven. I cant explain how this song has helped me with my grief. Thanks joann for your faith.
Magnificent! I'm assuming this is a Christian song and would like the lyrics to this beautiful song, thank you very much for sharing it with the world and may God bless you with some worship ones. ♡
I love that traditional outfit representing her culture & most of all giving the Praises to Jesus the son of the living God, Amen to Jesus our Savior Jesus Christ our Lord...
