The most hated attribute of God by an unbeliever is his sovereignty. But it is His holy sovereignty that gives his children the most peace.

I have actually, literally, just experienced that very thing in an evangelism encounter with a man that lasted roughly 2 hours, debating God's sovereignty, His holiness and our obligation as His creatures to worship Him and Him alone. Needless to say, this fellow did not like me very much at all. He seemed to pity me because I live my life on such a narrow path, but what's even worse, in his opinion, is that I so arrogantly impose that belief on so many "innocent" bystanders. Obstinate: "you must come back with us!" Pilgrim : "that can by no means be. You dwell in the city of destruction which will be burned with fire. I cannot go back with you!"

Job is the clearest representation of the gospel in the OT. It takes us back to pre-mosaic law and covenant. Pre-abrahamic covenant. We see in Job’s experience that fallen humanity is utterly incapable of accurately identifying his deepest need which is for unrighteous man to be made righteous by an outside force in order to be reconciled to a righteous God. It’s a relevant message today because the church in our generation has grossly neglected the USE of the Law in preaching the gospel. In Job’s case, pre-law, God used calamity to lead Job to recognize his greatest need was to be right with God, requiring an advocate. The law was later given as Gods tool to bring humanity to same revelation. When the Law is abandoned........ God will mercifully “resort” to calamity. But the law is FAR more affective and WAY less painful.

'Though He slay me, yet will I love Him.' Job is heroic and an example to us all. And as both Shakespeare and Swedenborg said, 'All the world is a stage, and we are players thereon'. One day, if we are counted worthy, all our tears will be wiped away and we will then see how our suffering has tempered us and made us shine. Then we will not be players on a stage any longer, but real and permanent.

@@alfrazz1799 remember that in it all, Job was never left alone. God was with him throughout. Also notice the pride of Job was brought to humility. We all must come to that place of humility and trust in the One True God.

Using my ability to think and reflect (made possible by the brain God has bestowed upon me), cannot square justice with an unjust act by referring to any sovereign status. Before Adam ate from the tree of Knowledge he was sovereign as being in contact with the most high, and the story of job, is a lesson in what happens when one is without sovereignty of mind. Within the book it also points towards where the laws of heaven are depicted, and this is the crux, if you understand the laws in heaven you will understand what sovereignty of mind entails. The celestial sphere, your life, your psyche is mapped out and written upon the stars. In the creation story, of seven days, to create the world in seven days, one needs to reference a construct, and this construct is how time came into being. If you want to understand how it ends, you need to find out where it began, as the snake eats its own tail.

Its good to read the" Present with Religion", a book for free on ths internet. The book is about the truth of life and it shows the full picture of life for the first time so that you may stop being deceived by the world and be able to follow the steps of Jesus and other prophets to Heaven.Knowing the truth is the key factor in our salvation. We must know the truth and live in it and change ourselves according to it in order to be saved. There is no other way to our salvation. With the knowledge of the truth there comes true repentance which means changing our minds and also true obediance to God' s law and finally our sanctification which is a lifeling process. And God in His mercy will give us Hia wonderful grace which is the time and ability to make the proper change.Only in this way will we be able to attain our eternal salvation. Our task is to find this narrow gate that leads to God and do it quickly and stay on it till the end no matter what. Then and only theb we will be saved. There is nothihg more important or serious to do in this fallen world as our efernal fate deolpends on it.

Here is my take on Job sons of God Job 1: 4-6 A person has to use CONTEXT....Context is King. 4 His sons used to go and hold a feast in the house of each one on his day, and they would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. 5 And when the days of the feast had run their course, Job would send and consecrate (SANCTIFY) them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my children have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did continually. 6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. When Job presented the animal sacrifice/burnt offering (Job 1:5) this was in the days (Plural) of Feasting. There are Two "DAYS" mentioned in the days of feasting found in Job 1: 4 and Job 1: 13 and there are also Two "DAYS" when the sons of God presented themselves Job 1: 6 and Job 2: 1. Job 1:4 " And his sons would go and feast houses, each on his DAY, and would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them Job1: 6 "Now there was a DAY when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. Job 1: 13 " Now there was a DAY when his sons and daughters eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house;" >>>>>the sons and daughters are Jobs, his household. Job 2: 1 "Again there was a DAY when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord. Job 1:5 So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and consecrate (SANCTIFY) them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did regularly. The proper interpretation is pairing together Job 1: 4 with Job 1: 6 and pairing together Job 1: 13 with Job 2: 1, keeping Job 1: 5 in mind and applying that thought to with the verses that are paired together. Basically what happened is in Job 1 :4 and Job 1: 13 the feasting would be taking place, then the following day Job 1: 6 and Job 2: 1 early in the morning Job would present the animal sacrifice/burnt offering unto the Lord God. Job is being made Holy as well as his Household (wife, sons, daughters), because of the sacrifice (burnt offering), sanctification, atonement and shed blood of the sacrifice, this brings Job's Household into a position of "Adoption", hence forth sons of God are explained in Job 1:6 and Job 2: 1 which happened the following day. This all took place during the days of feasting. Job 1: 4 "and his sons would go and feast houses, each on his day, and would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them." Verse tells us the days of Feasting each had there own day and there were probably 7 days of Feasting or could be 8 days of Feasting with Job because the Jews had 8 Feast days, 7 is more likely, because Job had 7 sons. Job was not a Jew, he was a Patriarch/head of the household and lived before the Jews and the Law was given. In the context given there are 4 separate DAYS mentioned in the text with in the 7 or 8 DAYS of Feasting. My view overall that Job's children were predestidated to Christ, since they were Concecrated/Sanctified (Made Holy), meaning the Soul. Have to apply the Context and which means applying the burnt offerings/animal sacrifice. The sons of God are clearly Job and his household.....This is all a fore shadowing of the Complete Sacrifice and Promise of Jesus on the Cross. Also to note like it says in Romans the wages of sin is death, Jesus made the final payment for sin with his death, but before the death of Jesus and before the Law and Israel, people like Job a Patriarch would offer death unto the Lord God for sins. Like it says fpr Job's children. The conversation between God and Satan is in the spiritual realm while Job and his household are in the material/earthly realm. Has to do with Sanctification, Justification and Glorification. Of course the Glorification is future since the soul is atoned for a future Glorified body. These souls of the OT, like Job and his household. Job had to continually offer sacrifices unto the Lord God, just like all of the OT sacrifices even the nation of Israel with the Levitcal priesthood offered sacrifices with shed blood, this was the old covenant with the blood of animals. These sacrifices were only good until the next sacrifice was offered. Jesus on the Cross made the FINAL PAYMENT for sin and the FINAL SACRIFICE. This is why it mentions sons of God in Job, this is all tied into the Sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross, who is the Son of God. There would be NO sons of God mentioned in both OT and NT without a Sacrifice and Shed blood offered unto the Lord God for the payment of sin and atonement for the soul. To call sons of God angels or a so called divine council in the OT is actually blasphemous against Jesus and the Cross, as well as how God dealt with sin of the Individual in the Bible.

I believe Job used God to get things like some prosperity preachers.Snd even later in Job you see his true colors come out. When he mentions all the good works but not a relationship with God. He was a moralist. A moralist is harder to reach than a hedonist. So God had to take away everything for him to see his folly.

Satan KNOWS what it is to be in the presence of God, to live in the holiness & the glory that God created heaven to be. We don't know heaven like he does, because we've never been there. We sin in partial ignorance of what awaits us. He & the angels that sinned with him did so in all knowledge of what they were giving up. God gave man a way to salvation (Jesus), because He loves us enough to save us from our sin, knowing we only have faint ideas of His glory. The angels knew His full glory & rejected it. There is no salvation for that.

When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. Notice that Satan was evil from the beginning, and thats Jesus' words! So who created evil? Check out this, more of Jesus was talking. Colossians 1:16 , 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: God created all for His own purpose.

@@myhassles3614 but remember In Isaiah 14:12-15 it said that Satan fell from heaven. He wanted to become the most high, but instead he was brought down to hell. In Genesis God said everything he created was VERY GOOD. From there on out he continues to compare sin to death and continue his plans to destroy Satan to this day. Even going as far as sacrificing his son. So somewhere inbetween the 6th day and Adam and Eve the Devil was in heaven because he was an angel, but "chose" Evil not because of some outside force, but because he chose to. That's why in John 8:44 he's considered The Father of Lies because he created it.
