Jodah Partner tribal could be interesting. Play all the legendaries that say "Partner With" so you can tutor into more creatures triggering his cascade which would trigger more "Search for X's Partner" etc
I built this deck when it was spoiled and I put in all legendary creatures that created other legendary creatures into my deck. Drizzt Do'Urden, Minsc, Beloved Ranger, and Tolsimir, Friend to Wolves. This these are auto includes in all builds due to your commander buffing everything based on number of legendries you have. Loved the video, thanks.
This game had a bit of a rough draw for my deck, I drew a total of 4 creatures, I think? Still was pretty fun though. Also, yes, the Dominaria United full art basics are amazing.
Back when dominaria came out, I built jodah archmage eternal as a 5color "commanders I didn't have a deck for" and it ended up being sorta like the new jodah.
I can confirm strong. I have only lost to being targeted heavily. Definitely folds if you just keep targeting them but that just speaks to its strength.
To answer your question about how you should build decks. Do what makes you happy. But also do the unique versions please. Especially for a commander as busted as this the 700 other channels will no doubt be making the standard versions. Your one eye one drop deck was so much fun to watch. This guy is this set's Ishin, miiryn, giada... Whatever you can do to make it unique and fun!
A friend of mine has a 5-color Child of Alara deck, and a bunch of Gods as the creatures in the deck. He calls it something like "The Divine Babysitter's Club." Honestly, I just want to take that idea, add in Maskwood Nexus, both Captain Sisays, and the land that has, "WWBBUURRGG, tap: Search your library for all creature cards with the God creature type, and put them on to the battlefield." Seems legit, 😂
Oh wooow ive played against jodah on arena but man its nuts in commander, one of his text boxes would have been good already! That last turn was sick tho, new catds are stronk
Jodah is brutal, his problem as a commander is yeah he basicallu is one of those kill on sight commanders. Thats why i still run esika as my 5c legend tribal commander woth jodah in it. Commander is less fun when its kill my commander or lose.
I made a Jodah, tribal tribal deck. Even if I do not get Maskwood Nexus or Mirror Entity, Jodah is still pumping them. My other thought is getting a legendary creature ETB version and have fun with Cadric, Ratadrabik, and Araumi.
That was a crazy ending. I am a Jodah fan to the core, but sad to say I think this one draws too much attention. Arch enemy turn 1 is rough. Fun to watch though.
I got it on SCG many years ago. But the problem was. They came in. They sold out like immediately. I waited like 2 months and even put in the electronic notification for when it was restocked. Ordered one. Then they sold out like the next day again for several more months.
You shouldn't have gotten a Jodah trigger off of the Bridge you cast off Tibalt's Trickery. Jodah explicitly says "from hand" right on it, MTGO is bugged.
Jodah is dumb, I have a combat themed one with stuff like Odric, Saskia, Edric, Zetalpa, things that give keywords and like hitting people and its so damn good honestly
