i didn't buy this album until 2006. and when i did, i played the HECK outta this song. it stayed on my playlist coming out of my earphones as i made my way around town. this is the jam.
That was just the era singers just seemed more believable in their delivery. Jodeci were one of the biggest bands on the 90's. I was a small kid then and i was blown away by their effort and passion. They were and are the blueprint, that gave us 112, Dru Hill, Next, Jagged Edge and many others. This song touched female hearts and Jodeci spoke to their inner emotions. Nothing now compares to Jodeci, only Dru Hill come close.
I remember exactly what I was doing when I first heard this song. I’ve listened to it on repeat for years in the 90’s. One of my absolute Jodeci favs. The runs are crazy!

I click your channel by accident after listening to my all time favorite song from my all time favorite group....I was 18 stationed in Guantanamo Bay Cuba in Jan 94 opening this cd on the plane ride....had this at #4 in my 6 cd changer from 94 to 04
Jodeci def should have had more videos. Unfortunately, they were beefing with their label at the time. Middle School day for me were lit, we were in the cafeteria singing our lil hearts out

Love the video. I will disagree with the hip hop part bc there was a bunch of rap on the 2nd half of THIS album, for better or worse, but it was there. As well as their 1st hit Come and Talk to me....
