@@alysskennedy8661 yeah I actually feel like this was irrelevant to the trial because Jodi probably had her fair share of kinks if she still wanted to stay with the dude after that. My guess is that she enjoyed it and so did he. He probably stuck with her because she was the only one that could fulfil that dark passion of his, and he kept it only with her and not with any of his other partners
When talking about the suicide Juan said the wrong location on purpose and the human nature to correct led jodi to say the right location, confirming she remembers. Genius
@@dylanandrejic4902 (im not a lawyer, but im pretty sure) A bar exam is a test you have to pass to become a lawyer, so getting disbarred basically revokes your ability to represent someone in a trial.
I feel badly for Travis' family. What a horrible thing for them to have to endure, to learn of his sexual escapades with Jodi, on top of hearing the horrible way in which he was murdered.
I loved every moment and every minute of it because she desearves nothing but shame in this world she couldn’t bare to kill herself because of a Knick she felt when she tried to hurt herself but she had the udasity to stab someone who actually loved her. Honestly I wouldn’t belive a world she says
@Stephen Rafferty for honestly everyone involved. Travis’s loved ones who had to see and hear this, Jodi for believing her own lies when all the evidence was right there proving her guilt. The jury who was forced to also remain unbiased. Just awful in general.
Jodi's delayed reaction at the picture of Travis's slashed throat never fails to amaze me. At first she is almost looking at it with excitement, but then realises she's supposed to be horrified and starts acting accordingly.
Arias’s reaction was horrifying. That look on her face, did you see it? She was mesmerized by her handiwork. Thankfully, Judge Stephens sentenced her to Natural Life.
Yeah she only started “crying” when she heard his family react because she wants to be pitied. Her lawyer rubbing her shoulder to comfort her pisses me off cuz she DID THAT TO HIM SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE DID AND SAW IT UP CLOSE WHY WOULD IT BOTHER HER NOW??
He was a pervert with loud mouth, little man syndrome. Same with her Lurch male attorney. Both pervs who got themselves disbarred after this trial. Nurmi got cancer and turned to stand-up comedy.
@@Ray-mj5mj Yeah it's definitely that, as a lawyer, you gotta ensure neither side uses emotional references that aren't related to the question. Juan just shut her down and made sure he didn't have to play her games.
This woman was so dangerous and toxic even her own legal team had given up on her. It's incredible the legal system had to spend so much time and money proving everything she says is lies.
While she’s guilty as sin, I think its still a moral responsability for the defendant lawyer to do what he can to defend his client (provided it remains within the realm of ethics, legality and morality : bribing witness is unethical and illegal for eg) Not because I want guilty peoples to get away with what they did but because I want innocent to be proven innocent. By the same measure the prosecution has to do what they can to prove the charges (but again excluding illicit, immoral, unethical or illegal actions) The two counterbalance eachothers and hopefully the verdict reached is fair.

I wanted to see Jodi's reaction after Juan shows the slit throat photo, so I took a closer look. From 7:04 to 7:10 you can see Jodi giving Lisa a super creepy death stare.
@@worsethanhitlerpt.2539 I don’t think it mattered what guy it was, she’s obsessive, and dangerous. I do think he should’ve never given her another chance after the creepy stocker stuff. She should’ve just stayed away from him when she supposedly felt degraded and he cheated on her.
Sigh. No he's as disgusting as she is. Edit: I understand cheating and revealing information isn't the same as slitting someone's throat, and I am so sorry that my words bristled anyone who didn't understand the context of what I meant. I meant they're both narcissists who completely lack empathy or consideration for others. Consider my lesson learned, please drop it now.
@@xxxAmandaxxx Because he was revealing confidential information about the case to people outside of it, and he was having relations with at least one of his employees as well as sexually harassing multiple others.
My god, the look on Jodi's eyes where Juan showed the slit throat picture...She was fascinated and subjugated by it...It's like she was reliving it, admiring what she had done. You can hear the families gasp, Jodi's attorney was disgusted, had a frown on his face, clearly that was the first time he saw that picture, he pushed himself away from the desk, looked back at Travis' family to, in my opinion, express that he is also shocked by it.
@@DerekWong967 What's funny is that instead of just saying the obvious truth (No, I didn't cry), that girl can barely speak and just saying "I don't remember, I don't know".
@@NationalEligraphic it was only funny watching jodi get told about her ass for doing what she did to travis none of this is more funnier than watching her pay for her wrong doings to that poor man
@@lior995 because she’s trying to make it seem like she did do those things but it was because he was gonna abuse her first so she would be crying or something if she didn’t wanna kill him
And he made her do it!! I can’t believe it wasn’t included in this video. The awkwardness of her T-posing in a bent forward position while standing on one leg is just… It hurts to watch.
Fuck makes me think of my father thinking he had the secrets to teaching me math but I was so bad at math that it ended with a pen sticking out of the computers screen lol
The part where Juan asks the psychologist if he has any memory problems is not just comedy gold, it's gone platinum; the incredulous look on the poor guy's face, and then the camera pans to Jodie's attorney's face and she is just marveling at Juan's audacity. That look was newly earned respect right there.
There was talk about how unfair the trial was because Juan was so good at his job. And he knew if he let her, she would walk over him and spin him in circles, which is why he did things in the manner he did. He was the best of the best, and poured everything into this trial to get Jodi put away. I'm sad that he's been disbarred and hope he's doing OK.
@@noorrougelewis6704 So because he denied them, must mean it didn't happen or something? There's no need to feel sorry for him. He's a stranger, unless you personally know him outside of this trial.
The prosecutor pretty much used aggressive tactics and scared her into confession or get her to say something could use it against Jodie arias. This prosecutor was using scare tactic which was common to get suspect to make mistake and get them into conviction
@Ruby Ramirez At the end of the day, she murdered a man. I don't think anyone has sympathy for her. If invading her privacy and playing her tape will help her get behind bars, then she doesn't deserve to have her privacy respected. At least this is my opinion
This trial was disgusting and it's hard to fathom how degrading it was to be involved. Saying that, the phrase "did he ever call you a 3 hole wonder" fucking sends me
When I first heard this questioning at 9:30 my jaw dropped to the floor. Literally did not see that coming, maybe I'm so slow, but Martinez pulled the rug right out from under her. He wiped that smirk off her face so fast.
7:02 you can see Travis’s throat slit and it’s horrible! That’s a seriously deep slice that was clearly done while he was already down! No quick self defence slice would go that deep and that clean!
@@keithdavid5206What he did was also a form of abuse, stop the bs. You go around slandering her and saying how crazy she is, but youre still sleeping with her on a regular basis. You do shit like that to a mentally unstable person, you might get screwed
@@65firered Why would a christian conservative fucking mormon family be happy about hearing their (murdered) son talking dirty and stuff? I mean yes it was embarrasing for Jodie, but I bet it was just as embarrasing for Travis family.
@@savannahsiebert8974 ah I mean the person who’s questioning the witness(ex gf of Travis). The guy reading out the sexts and asking the witness “did Travis ever talk to you about massive loads”
This is either haunting or pleasant to Jodi hearing Travis phone voice from video conversation and and knowing what truly happened that day. It's so sickening
Yup. What she said. She is a narcissist. She really enjoyed all the attention of the entire trial I am sure. The only time she didn’t like it is when the defense attorney made her look stupid. For surely in her head she was smarter than him.
These are great. They should have included when they mentioned she was caught hiding behind the Christmas tree though. She always gets flustered when they bring that up
I had to dip out when that sex tape came on. Not only is it painfully uncomfortable to listen to, watching his family, especially his sister having to listen to that is just too much
How bizarre would that feel! Like the family member you love is dead and they playing his phone sex convo with his murderer audio in court. Like the sadness, the awkwardness, the anger...and again the freaking awkwardness lmfao what a clusterfuck of a situation.
Y’all are so hypocrite, just because he’s dead y’all not even talking about how a 12 years old girl could excite him... he maybe didn’t deserve to die but he definitely not a Saint in his head.
Interesting how she corrects Juan about every little detail of things as if the tiniest details will help her and trip him up. She seems to have absolutely no understanding of why he’s asking her the questions he is. She thinks she’s smarter than anyone else in that room. Mind you, Juan is in full shark mode. Would be afraid to be on the receiving end of him!
-in full shark mode No. He's in full unprofessional my-meds-rolled-away mode. Every single tirade ends in the defense objecting and the judge upholding the objection. Not enough that a US courtroom looks halfway between an ape enclosure and a dumpsterfire, you're cheering it on in the comment section. Idiocracy wasn't just a comedy, self-fulfilling prophecy
Actually wen people r in some kind of sexual act they do say wired things which they don't mean so it's normal bt wen it comes in public it becomes weird also they called poor guy a pedophile which actually became the last nail in their coffin
I came here because of the Amber vs Depp case. Someone referenced how Ah displayed this woman attitude also how her lawyers must feel representing her.
Because Travis’s entire (Mormon) family who thought he was celibate was in the front row. I’d be mortified if I was in that room and they had to hear that.
juan: "was it a big closet or a small closet?" jodi: "it's bigger than the cell that i live in" juan: "who?" jodi: me, it's bigger than my- juan: "asked"

Please think before you act!
Juan Martinez, the prosecutor, has been disbarred. He was accused of sexually harassing coworkers and a Maricopa County Superior Court employee, communicating with a juror, and having a relationship with a blogger while trying to get her to leak information. An investigation by the Maricopa County Attorney's Office found that clerks would hide from Martinez in the bathroom. and that he often made inappropriate comments, including telling one woman he could guess the color of her underwear. and telling another that he wanted to "climb her like a statue".
I've been through countless depositions for my job. You can't get personally upset at the attorney cross-examining you, or you've already lost. Their job is to question your credibility. If you get emotionally upset, it's game over.
I'm barely familiar about this Jodi.. now yes I understand why I can't look at Scamber in the clips showing her cross-examination without looking away the next second.
Jodi: "He bodyslammed me with one leg still in the shower." Juan: "So he bodyslammed you with one leg in the shower and you being at a distance?" Jodi: "That's not what I said."
@Randomnamegeneratir I can’t tell if you’re being serious or not, because I’m in full agreement with Juan, I’m just making fun of Jodi for saying something and then saying that she didn’t say the thing that she just said.
