This is an adaptation of the BBC hit series Dr. Foster. The world of the married is also an adaptation. This is going to be much better than the original and the korean and all the adaptations because of Ms Jodi. The original Dr. Foster is based on the story of middle class English values on marital relations. Dr. Gemma Foster was brave, palaban na legal wife, strong, intense, fierce matapang at hindi nagpapaapi. She is the exact opposite of Dr. Ji of the world of the married who is weak, timid, meek, at nagpaapi. Why? Because the series is adapted to the local culture of the country that is adapting the show. In Korea, the males have higher status than the female and they are worship like demi-gods. Kaya hindi puede bastosin, insultohin ng female lead ang male lead. Their society is not going to accept it. Kaya Dr. Ji is aping api. Bakit pumatok dito sa atin? Dahil tayong mga Pinoy ay suckers sa mga inaapi. Do you wonder why ABS-CBN choose the title the broken marriage vow? Kasi tingnan mo how many millions of broken marriage vows do you see in our society where the cheating husband maintains an illegal and immoral relations with the kabit that our society tolerates and accept at the expense of the legal wife. Watch closely the show dahil may twist ito. We do not have divorce nor legal separation that allow couples to have relations outside of marriage. This means all throughout the show the cheating husband and the kabit will be illegal. Why do you also wonder why the original was titled Dr. Foster and not just Mrs. Foster? Because of the irony that this woman community doctor of service and love her community was betrayed by the people she served. The pain is more excruciating, it feel like millions prick or stab wounds from million knives. I am lookin forward to Ms Jodi give life to Dr. Jill Ilustre not like the English version, nor the Korean version, or the other adaptations but as a Filipino version. Beautiful, fierce, palaban na legal wife, exciting, magnificent, sexy, courageous, brave, strong, intense, hindi nagpapaapi but above all classy, sophisticated, superb acting and phenomenal.
