Had one of these in the late naughtys, me and the boys cruised everywhere with happy hadcore blasting, they were the days lol.

Takes me back..... I owned a Renault 5GTT back in the early 90s and that was a quick car back then. Every day I passed a Nova GSI on the way into work.... exactly like this, same wheels but in grey and back then you were a lucky boy to have a quick car.... not like today. We always gave a nod to each other as we passed on the road.. that Nova had a Calibra turbo engine installed and it was the second fastest Nova in the UK in a Max Power test. It ended up pink and I do believe it’s in Scotland at the moment.

Such a lovely looking motor! I really admire the engeneering that’s gone into this. Classic Vauxhall ❤️. I’ve got a 91 Mk3 Astra GSi, in glacier white. It’s not far from being finished now, it’s been restored and built to a fast road spec. Currently a standard 20xe redtop with serious future plans 😁. i love old vauxhalls....have a mk3 astra from brand new.... this nova looks like its a top spec build with no expence spared... i would not like to count up the cost involved putting this all together

This is akin to the mad group B rally cars like the RS200, the MG 6R4, the Lancia Delta S4 & the Peugeot 206 T16. Shame it's not all wheel drive !

That's a stunning car. Incredible skill to weld that spaceframe etc. I've always had a soft spot for Novas. Even in 1.2 form they were nippy and great fun in the corners.

A Go Pro in front of the digi-dash would have been good to see it how much it jumps up the figures as it accelerates. I loved them in my Astras but they weren't smooth at updating and jumped in steps in the 16V GTE when accelerating hard. Old tech but awesome :)

Absolutely love these cars I’m a massive fan you don’t see many off them around anymore though and it I so wanna buy one I built two then with a friend of mine years ago and put a red top engine in them and got them both remaped out

Decent vid as always, Very Clean conversion, done hell of a job. Old fords n old Vauxhall’s all I’ve ever owned. Just think that Ford had the bodywork and style that touch better than Vauxhall, (obviously a lot will disagree) Love the Nova though👌🏼

Gorgeous 😍😍😍, had 3 novas in me time , 1.2 swing, 1.3sr and my last was 1.6gsi, j plate in metallic lilac. Spent a couple of grand on engine mods and got it to 145 bhp. That was a fuckin handful🤣🤣, didn’t do The brakes until I knew that I couldn’t stop anymore. Brilliant cars, pedals too close and a floating back end( until rear disc conversion) but really want another 👌👌
