@@aarondobbs2958 no, the real karate kid is Johnny Lawerence from the Cobra Kai dojo. Who was brutally cheated by an illegal leg kick in the finals of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament.
In the UK it's all knives. What a lot of those little scrotes don't realise here is there's a growing number of what the US might call Preppers that dress in a way that includes a tool belt, which effectively gives a decent(ish) excuse to carry all kinds of things, one of which being half and full tang carpet knives. It's one advantage of having no guns; if you have a decent reason other than fighting then you can carry, plus we only have to outrun the thug, not the lead being fired, if we don't think we can handle the odds.
And it wont be even close to criminals that Joe thought in that school. Joe talked about those openly in quite a few podcasts. Murders , mafia members and such
Joes the type of guy to share a story about being punked by a kid and trying to look tough 😂😂. Wasn’t so tough when UFC fighter were calling him out quick to apologize
My trainer once said to me: If you only want to train to hurt others, then I will stand in the ring with you! Martial arts are not for hurting others, but for protecting your loved ones and yourself! My trainer was one of the greatest people and I am glad that he trained me.
Yeah I remember once I was at a train station near my place someone asked me for a cigarette and I said "No, I don't smoke" he immediately responded with "Do you want to die?" and I just said you him "No, do you?" at which point he just shut up.
@@BigPaulie_DaMenace192 Its what schindler says to goeth to stop him on his insane rampage of horror, he almost says it as a way of tricking him. Like if i tell him this story he might lay of the brutality. Very clever part of the film
My son 8 yrs old was confronted by a bully at school, and he told the bully he practices jiu jitsu and that was enough for the kid to stay away. Martial arts is a great tool
No, like the kid in this story was confident because he was stupid but once he realized joe knew mma he was scared because he had no confidence @@You-got-a-big-dick
I was hoping it was going to be a fairytale ending where the kid comes up to the class and ends up being humbled then goes on to be mentored by Joe and becomes world champion.
@@philipdratcliffe9648 What? lmao You’re right, some kid would definitely have done well against a super fast and capable pro fighter in the early 80’s. He was already at nationals for TKD KO’ing people and had a handful of pro KB fights at that time.
@@JarrenHunt These guys have 0 idea how it really goes. I know amateurs who trained muay thai for 5+ years and all it takes in most fights is one punch and they put people to sleep. Obviously not against other fighters, but the average hoodlum is skinny and drug addicted.
I know right, i hear a variation of this story from everyone who says they can fight. but the people who actually can fight...never talk about the fights the get into, or almost get into
Why is this unbelievable to people? I watched my dad beat the brakes off this dude that tried to steal his truck, and he wasnt a taekwondo champion. Some people just have a fighters spirit and dont put up with peoples shit.
I've never lost my shit, am always the calm and collected one in tense situations. I'm more scared of what I could do to the other person when I lose control than I'm for my own safety.
@@Tim_van_de_Leurreminds me of my daughter telling me she had forgot to lock her door n was lying in bed wishing she'd left a potential house robber an apology letter for the damage she was going to have to inflict on the poor guy 😂
Well, the difference is there's a chance One is theatrics, and the other readily shoots hot lead kissing the sound barrier right from your hip or pocket.
He probably didn’t. He probably had those dead eyes like a shark. If he had no idea who little-big Joe Rogan was, he isn’t living a life of just chillin. It’s another antisocial, raised by momma, no mentor having, entitled race-hyper thug who about lost his hearing.
Not really all the guy that I met that box do not have anything you mentioned they were cocky with big ego talked like they were better then everyone and always want to start shit just cause they think they can box😂
My apologies, I forgot the difference between my generation and the things that call themselves fighers now💪let me rephrase. REAL fighters have a above average measure of control, the "fighters" today are little more that vicious dogs with no structure.
Joe did the right thing. All martials arts have a fundamental principle, "Only use your skills in self defense". I've trained Judo for nearly 20years, I've nearly always worn a Budokan hoodie, I've never started a fight I've had to finish a couple, but only after the person has swung at me..... Never throw the first punch unless you can follow through with it. Kids don't have discipline anymore 😔
You Don't have anything to prove to Punks. Joe give A call It's Jerry DeGennaro could you please have David call. Set up an interview. Thanks JOE. 🌬✌️💪♥️✝️
When I was about 18 this kid who just knew a little about fighting blew my head off with one of his head kicks, almost put me out, he was about 15% the size of joe, if joe hit you with one of his head kicks me personally I’m dying on the spot I couldn’t take another head kick after that last one I got 😂😂😂 ( I was innocent too they tried to rob us )
I still remember this news story when I was younger where a couple of kids tried to rob this older man, (like in his 70's) and he beat them all to a pulp because he was a golden glove boxer. 😅
Something like that happened in Lawrence MA in the late 90s as well. It was a crakkhead trying to break into an old ladies house and the neighbor who was also old beat the S out of him and put him in the hospital. he was WWII Marine Vet.
The kid was joking with him. The lie told, he said it was other kids. He talked to one. Pay attention. If kids really wanted to rob him in a bad neighborhood. He would have gave up him money or died. No man defeated a bullet yet.
Bro says hey I know you got some flippin money... but since you're teaching a class like Kung foo fighters, I will let you keep everything you have!!!!😅😅😅😅😅
Thanks for letting those kids move on to someone else, man. Should have sent someone to the hospital. Maybe they would have had a change of mind about robbing people.
I just recently watched a very Graphic Film called Eden Lake and i so wished Joe could have been the Protagonist. Be warned the ending is horrible and will stick with you.
@@RedHeadRGR I haven’t watched the movie nor did I know about the scene. Rogan’s story seemed pretty fictional to me and I found it quite funny that someone pointed out this exact thing happened in a film coincidentally. But go ahead mate, believe everything you get told on the internet and anything that gets brought up on JRE for that matter 👍🏼
Many of us go to a dark place when it comes to bullies. How much satisfaction do you get when you see the s* heads on movies get what’s coming to them, from someone worse than they are? How many times have you felt satisfaction when you gave a horrible human being exactly what they begged for? I’m not a big guy and I’ve had many people try to bully me, but I grew up fighting and I didn’t mind showing them I prefer friendship, but I can make you think twice about f* with me ever again.
He can do no wrong. Apparently he's the smartest AND toughest guy out there. He and Dana White have a lil man complex from hanging out with actual alphas all the time.
Disarmament is part of martial Arts training. Distance is your only advantage of having a gun. Hard to rob a person from a distance. Game over if your within striking distance even with a gun. Discipline is the lesson here.
@@JesseSilas-mr3qi game over if within striking distance? The gun will still almost always win, there’s an exception to every rule but if you actually think showing up to a gun fight with a fist is a good idea then your only training with either must be from Hollywood sitting on your couch.
