When I first got an AR I took it deer hunting. My dad legitimately thought I would blow the deer in half and ruin all the meat if I used my little .223 rifle.
@feelings Are Not Arguments Hmm I don't think so. Ive shot deer with rounds way way way bigger then a 223 or 556 and it didn't ruin any meat at all. Green tip rounds will go right threw it and cause no damage because a 223 alone doesn't do much damage. 223 or 556 isn't a very good deer hunting gun at all. It would be the last thing I use

@@daanvanrijn4117 Yeah, our new president, although he's an idiot and a totalitarian to be completely honest, and not at all liberal, instituted a decree two weeks after he got in, essentially reducing the requirements for gun ownership and expanding the permitted professions that can apply for carry. It got shot down couple of months later by the authoritarians of the Senate. You also can't technically carry a knife on you, because the same law that regulates guns regulates knives, and requires a license to carry, but surprise surprise, there's literally no way to get a knife license, so you technically can, but can't at the same time. It's such a grey area it hurts. We literally have a single law that regulates all kinds of weapons, including anything that can be used as a weapon, which is ridiculous, that literally predates our constitution by 47 years. God damn I hate my country at this point. Worse thing is he's labeled as right wing, although none of his policies are. Everyone talks about the UK's gun control, but no one ever talks about Brazil, Venezuela, etc....

Im late to the show, but I often find myself educating my Aunts on guns when they are horribly misinformed (and anti- gun). We love each other and keep it non confrontational as best we can. They actually sit and listen and are unaware of basic things, that may change their mind in the (Hopefully near) future. I'm not saying its the same with Biden, or any politician, but I think we can change the minds of a lot of regular but misinformed Americans.
Dude, I´m an Austrian and Weapons are part of my religion too! Also, my wife owns guns (including a Glock, obviously), my sister, her housband, damn even my mom has her own gun! Just to say that not all Europeans are boring, anti-gun buzzkillers :-) (it´s just that those people, unfortunately and like everywhere, are always the loudest..)
Maybe instead of ruining every country they exist in, they should go form their own and figure out for themselves why an armed populace is a safe populace

I spent thanks giving over in America with a military family, as part of basically adopt a British sailor type thing. Got absolutely hammered which was amazing but I got asked on my thoughts about guns because it really was 50/50 in their family, the shock on the mum and grandparents face when I said I’m all for firearms and have a few in my household back home was priceless 😂
