Joe Biden met Russian premier Vladimir Putin in a frosty start to to their bilateral summit in Geneva.

In front of a chaotic press pool jostling to put questions to the leaders, Putin told Biden that the two countries had 'a lot' of issues that required talks at the highest level. 'I think it's always better to meet face to face,' Biden said, adding that he hoped they could find 'predictable and rational ways to disagree.'

The only difference between the US and Russia is that presidents in the US are representing the bankers in the US and a president of Russia is representing himself. That's why you can change presidents of the US how often you want, but not in Russia. Because the presidents in Russia are both bankers and everything else. The bankers in the US do not change so often either. So actually the whole thing is the same but with different tools. So the democracy and autocracy are the same things in real.

I guess this is a part of some sort diplomatic culture. When you represent your country, you always speak in your native language, at least on the public level. If Putin spoke English out there, it would look like it's Biden who has power over him.
