this is a classic norm interview. he awkwardly stands above someone who is sitting down. and joe plays the guitar while norm is trying to talk. very effective techniques here

I think the amp is pretty loud too tho. It's comressing the audio quite a bit when Joe plays.

@@rolandmueller7218 You're the one who brought it up. And that was my point exactly by comparing him to Swift. Although i'm not a Swift hater. She's just not my type of music. My family is going to see Pink. I think the tickets were like $500. I don't know, I didn't pay for it, my wife's daughter and son in law did. I wouldn't pay $50 to see Pink, but i'm sure it'll be a hell of a show.

Scotty Moore had a Super 400 in blonde with Staples. Was just like the one here but blonde. He sold it and got the one with Florentine cutaway and humbuckers. Before the Super 400 he had a blonde L5 with staples.

All I know is Joe is absolutely the best guitarist on tour today ( my opinion only) very blessed to have him as your friend/ customer.. he’s very knowledgeable and very funny & friendly.. good stuff

The super 400 has a deeper tone but is less articulate in treble than L-5 CES. Smooth attack w/ staple pickups. Ravishing guitar.

I have a '50 Super 400 cutaway, acoustic with carved top. The Super 400s were the top of the heap back in the day. It's a work of art. All Gibson's top craftsmen worked on those guitars.

That guitar sounds and looks great. I really enjoy the norm & Joe vids! Norm's looking fit. Hope he's feeling better. They make me laugh when Joe said the guys at the shop gave him great deals when norm was out. And norm grumbles about it. Lol!

Great tone. Master Joe knows the history and can tease the best out of any guitar. Uncle Norm maybe taking advantage but I think addict Joe walked into the deal.

I was in LA a few years back shopping for a Les Paul and bumped into Joe at the Guitar Center. At the time, i thought “wow! What are the odds?!” And now I realize Joe just lives at guitar shops. 🤷‍♂️

Norm, you have the greatest collection of rare guitars in great rare condition. Maybe call the store Norm's Rare Guitars. Joe, you have a cool Norm's collection. Play your heart out. Make some serious bucks. Finish the tour and head off to Uncle Norm and buy expensive guitars. What a life. Can you take it when you go Joe? Either way, that box sounds outrageous. How many guitars can you play at once?

I have seen several interviews maybe 1 day he will let them actually play the instrument, so boring to see these interviews and the guitar is just a prop
