Thank you for posting. I saw JB 8-9-23 @ Hollywood Bowl & KWS last night 8-12-23. I’m in Heaven seeing both of these guys in the same week. I see JB every year but this is my first time seeing KWS. Bucket list ✅
What a killer opening 'Evil Mama' followed by 'Dust Bowl'... perfect way to start off an evening of great music. Will be seeing Joe again soon...can't wait.
Neskutečný a maximální výkon všech hudebníků! Ikdyž jsem basista tak toho chlapa za klávesama tak toho zbožňuji! Hlavní aktér Joe Bonomassa .....tak o toho tu přeci jde! Fantastické představení!
Joe amazes me every time. He is able to give old school blues a twist that not everyone can do. He also explores other paths of blues music that mainstream blues musicians don't dare to take. His compositions and arrangements amaze me every time. He has long surpassed many common great blues legends. Well done maestro. 🤩👍🙏
You're new to me Joe, but my god! Tight. Someone mentioned the late great SRV1 He was something else, if only he were still here, you'd be jamming along with Satriani and Vai, and the Best of the rest. I put wee Angus Young Right up There too. Fellow Glaswegian, no of course that's not the reason why. The first two songs I'm getting SRV1 Plus your own style is brilliant! Can I marry your backing singers? No? I can accept that. Keep on Smiling! "Eat em and Smile" or "Shut up and play your geetar" Must be a buzz to do both!!
I saw this guy play a solo that was so clean and fast I dont even want to argue how amazing he is. I know what I saw.All 32nd notes, with no cheating with stock rest licks. You must remember he was raised to be a guitarist.I am 71,started at 8.blackmore was the only guy I would never follow. I am glad I dont have to worry about going on after him in my day at rock festivals you played as listed , I followed eric burdon Ike and Tina Turner canned heat etc. So when I say he is exceptional, I know what I speak of.
Joe, Josh, old man Reese, the band are all incredible. Jade is a star in her own right, absolutely love her voice and the way she moves. I've played an axe or two in my day. Believe me, Joe is special 😊
Such a class act he throws in simple little tribute riffs to both Jeff Beck & Jimi & pours his heart out in every song just for the pure joy of playing. What a fiery band as the man has no clue how to not put great assed bands together & make them wail. Thanks for the fine post & though not Red Rocks awesome still one hell of a show from everyone in this band. 🎸🎸🔥
What a great show and talent across the board. Love Joe and his fantastic band!!! Can't wait to see him in August. Many thanks Blind Ivan for posting this video, much appreciated!!!!
In attendance for this great performance from Joe and his band! Interesting note, at the end of the concert a rainbow showed up behind the audience. You can see the Jade point it out to Danni at 58:40 and then get Joe's attention at 1:02:30 where he acknowledges it. I saw the exchange between Joe and Jade and looked over my shoulder to see the rainbow. Thanks for the post Blind Ivan!
I want to learn that drum part. This clip shows me everything! By the way, great how Joe just steps out plays his album stuff perfectly. He’s such a secure musician.
So efficient. Solid. Good grooves. Accents on specific parts of melodies Joe is playing. Not flashy but very good fills every 4 bars or so to let the band know exactly where they are during the guitar solo. In other words, he "serves the music". I love it.
@@MrWilly0330 yes I know. But I’ll be on a cruise. Hopefully he’ll book In south Florida in the fall again. Depending where he’s playing just fly out to see him. He’s worth every penny.
I saw him for the first time last year in Perugia (IT). He is incredible!!! wonderful concert and he is one of the greatest guitarists I have ever seen! hope to see soon again Joe!!!
The band is every bit as tight as one has come to expect from Joe. (Also, I have never seen Jade smile so much, and Danni seems to be having the time of her life.) Bravo to all!
Wow Blind Ivan. Seeing Joe 11 April 2024 in Paris! Warming up with this show! (Think you've done clips of Blackberry Smoke, too?) From Bend, OR! Wow, I grew up in Eugene, Or and went to Bend many a time. Well, I'm going to rock on with your filming. Many many thanks. Merci from France!
yua, i was there!! great venue!!! I was really hoping reese and tommy, and chris would do a double trouble thing but they didn't. as KWS was also there
@@mckaymnm Really?! Note to JB enterprises... When you have a 10 knot crosswind, leave the fog machine off! Just looks like somebody lost control of their barbecue, stage right! 😊
Reese was around long before he hooked up with Stevie , & good as he is he just gets better all the time !!! Now he's giving his fine sound to Mr. Bonamassa & doing the same awesome job as he gives to anyone he plays with.
At the very beginning, Danielle and Jade are astonished and delighted with what Lemar did on the drums to start the song. What did he do that tickled them so much?
Joes a great guitarist I have a pair of guitar dice from his website 56:18 hanging on my rearview mirror. Also got to work for a company that unloaded and loaded bands equipment for concerts heard Joe live many times.
I’m very happy that this video was shared ,because it reminds me of the live concert this year in Luxembourg, where I was able to experience and enjoy this brilliant musician and singer with his fantastic ensemble and grandiose singers ! Thx 🙏 for sharing 😎👠🌻
Your best song is very Dickey. Stick with that. We have all heard to many blues burners. Stick with a good melody. Just me. Thanks Joe for all that you do.
Чертовски приятное выступление группы и одновременно крайне неуважительное отношение зрителей, бродящих туда-сюда, и дующих пиво и не обращающих внимание на сцену, где выкладываются замечательные музыканты.
Such a waste, though. You can’t hear him, he’s just stuck playing backup chords. It’s a job, but a player of Josh’s ability should be properly featured.
@@johnbuell8035not every venue is the same. This is nothing like they sound in a normal one. And Joe asked Josh to be his MD and rhythm 2 years ago. If he thought he was wasting his time I can tell you my husband wouldn’t be there.
@@nicolesmith5684 I’m not talking about the sound in the venue. And I’m not saying your husband is wasting his time. I’m saying his talent is wasted being buried under Bonamassa all the time. It was the same when Kirk was doing this job - you never heard him and he hardly ever got a featured solo. Sure, it’s Bonamassa’s gig, but he could be a bit more generous with the spotlight. Your husband is is a fine player who should be heard properly and featured properly.
@@johnbuell8035 my husband is an incredible player who has been on the circuit since he was 12. The last 11 almost exclusively in Europe. It’s Joe’s gig so Josh gets the time he gets. Joe asked him to come in 2 years ago and he did. He won’t be there forever and he does his own work when they are in between tours.
