This was the final show on Joe's "Three Kings" tour, where he featured the music of Albert King, B.B. King, and Freddie King. Great show! The lead female singer here is Mahalia Barnes; her father (Jimmy Barnes) is a vocal legend in Australia.

It has been very well established by now...... JOE BONAMASSA IS A BEAST who travels with an entourage of some of the finest singers/musicians in the business. The guy has like 15 studio albums and counting. Must listens, Trouble Town, Blue & Evil, You Upset Me, Angel of Mercy, Breakin Up Somebodys Home, You Left Me With Nothing But The Blues...... there are many, many more. Great reaction, TY.

Joe Bonamassa is Always the best show. We go see him live at least once a year. We’re going on our second Keeping the Blues a Alive at Sea cruise next March. He is a strong advocate for young upcoming blues players and honors the masters.

You may well have heard this song before. It's a remake of a song recorded in 1946 by Louis Jordan. What Bonamassa has done for it is make it sound contemporary; however, the song has been around for 77 years. And, as you will agree, he did an exceptional job with it.

That bass rhythm you hear is called a walking bass and is used in much of the blues and rock and roll!

The 12 bar blues....an undercurrent of practically all Rock n Roll music. LTGTR was originally a 12 bar traditional Blues song written and first sung by Louis Jordan and the Tympany Five in 1946. It has been done by BB King, Bobby Blues Bland and many others. Joe B gives it a more Contemporary Blues Rock flair and I believe HERE it can pass as straight 50/60's ROCK N ROLL!!!
