Hey, I’m a friend and I love Joe Bonamassa! 🙂. The best since SRV did it! Speaking of SRV, that gentleman on keys is the one and only Reese Wynans (original member of SRV’s band Double Trouble). Joe Bonamassa “going down” live at Greek theater is awesome. You’d love it, I think. Really enjoying going back and seeing some of the older stuff that you have on here. ❤
Good afternoon my dear beautiful friend...hope all is well. I love the blues.. I'm learning blues on guitar, blues for ,e calms my mind, keeps me relaxed.. this so cool dear... I enjoy your reactions., but haven't been watching lately been busy... take care and be safe my friend
You have a "friend" now that listens to Joe Bonamassa. Me! Blues baby! The candles were great. Next blues reaction we also need you in bubble bath sipping some good wine.👌
Wow.. what a choreography you made with candles and atmosphere very fit with this blues song ! Obviously never heard before, but you make your reaction very nice moving and singing so the final result very pleasant and i can share new good music with you ! What i like mostly of your work that you dont limit yourself to put headphone but you live and make others live your music sensatiions ..that 's the difference 👏
More Joe Bonamassa please.....also your voice is as beautiful as you are. Also the bass response isn’t coming through so it doesn’t show how awesome this song is
I seen him in concert back in 2014, he’s one of the best pure guitarist of our generation! So gifted & a throwback to the golden age of the late 60’s British blues guitarist (David Gilmour, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Richie Blackmore, etc). He’s a must see when concerts are back! Checkout Black Country Communion, he’s great in a full band setting! P.S. Please make sure to see a Metallica, you don’t be disappointed!
Glad you’re finally listening to real music. You have to appreciate that American Blues are the basis for all the great music that came afterwards. Heavy metal is just loud noise but still based in the blues
Now we are talking, mighty I YOU. Now we are talking. haha Jokes aside, I must say that I'm happy for today's video. Joe Bonamassa, by far, is currently one of my favorite guitarists after the 2000s -- alongside, of course, John Mayer, Eric Gales, Gary Clark Jr., Keith Urban, Tyler Dow Bryant, Richie Kotzen, Andy McKee, Mateus Asato (this last, a brazilian guy who until recently was part of the enviable Jessie J. group) and many others. Anyway, Bonamassa is a very versatile guy and has a series of collaborations with other great artists, not to mention how great as composer has been performing -- although the song in this react is not one of yours --, as well as how virtuous he is when wields his instrument . As always, nice job. See you!
Since you've already mentioned Beth Hart, there's no sense in recommending the duets that she and Joe did. (You should still go watch them!) But, I will go in a slightly different direction. Black Country Communion. Joe Bonamassa on guitar Glenn Hughes on bass (played in Deep Purple back in the 70's, in the Mark III and IV lineups) Derek Sherinian on keyboards (has played with a lot of bands) Jason Bonham on drums (son of John...of Led Zep...and has played in a number of different bands as well)
yep, I know this supergroup - that is where I know Joe, and his work with Beth is also what I really love. it is makes me wonder why ppl not familiar with him, but I guess it is just my channel's fault.
#BlameIYOU No, not really. I think part of the challenge with BCC's popularity (or lack thereof) is due to them not touring very frequently and when they do tour, it's a limited number of shows. And, they also have been inconsistent when it comes to releasing new music. 2010-2012, an album a year...but then nothing until 2017. And, I just checked...and it doesn't look like another new album until late 2021 or early 2022. BAH! This is why people aren't familiar with them...they don't do enough to generate excitement/familiarity.
If you like this you should check out Gary Moore - Still Got The Blues for You live, it’s a great song and he’s one of the best blues guitarists of all time.
Yeah, matches never want to work for me either. I have a grill lighter that I use anytime I need to light something on fire. 😄 There was prior mention in another reaction video about songs sometimes sounding like each other. I wonder if I'm the only person in the world that hears a resemblance between 4:59 to 5:02 in this video, and the song Rooster by Alice in Chains? (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uAE6Il6OTcs.html 3:03 to 3:06 in this video for Rooster, for comparison purposes. The notes are similar, Alice in Chains just does it heavier.) This song is absolutely beautiful, I had never before heard it, and I had never before even heard this artist. Thank you for expanding the types of music you react to on your channel, and for expanding my musical horizons in the process. As always, your vocal harmonizing is amazing and adds to the song. Just a really beautiful song and reaction video, both full of atmosphere, and the candles most certainly added to the atmosphere. I enjoyed the song and the reaction video very much!
I've seen Joe many times he's a guitar prodigy! Go back and find his videos from when he was 14 years old and his band Bloodline...Ans then Watch a few Dream Theater videos and check out John Petrucci....
