The three piece band and the Gigliotti Tele at Burg Satzvey in 2005, an Amazing "snapshot" in time indeed. Rockpalast bedeutet seit über 40 Jahren Qualität aus Deutschland - for your viewing and listening pleasure.
Near the end, Joe reminded me of one of my favorite songs, by Butch Borgen of Anchorage, AK, "Over the Hill (and Pickin' Up Speed)" about turning 50. Bless you all! Keep on keepin' on... Or as I tell people when they ask how I'm doing, "Hanging on, enjoying the ride!"
At my age I can absolutely vouch for what Norm said. that it doesn't get any better from here that it's a steady downward spiral. and this video shows that Joe Bonamasa doesn't do the same old thing all time. that he tries new things all the time.
I disagree, Joe. You're not declining. At 44, with your talent and experience, there's no telling how good you will sound at 50. Same thing with Greg Koch. He's 54ish, and still getting better and better, I think. Oh, and "Think ten and play five." is my new mantra. And I learned it from a member of BoysIIMen.
NORM IS 33 1/3 AGAIN (AND AGAIN) BOYZ II MEN COULD EASILY BE THE MOONGLIWS OF THE NEXT 10 YEARS VERY STRANGE GUITARS HERE JOE A DAY AT NORMANS SQUARE GUITARS CARLOS GUITARLOS 90042 USA
Joe seems like a super nice guy and is no doubt a fantastic guitar player. I can’t enjoy his music though. I think he’s “too much” there’s too much technical perfection and not enough soul, for me.
Joe seems to be nice but he shorted me on a guitar deal and in our industry that is a bad thing to do. That is the reason I have zero respect for this person. You do not screw people over, it's a small world...
