He’s great, he has a style that doesn’t try and overtake what’s going on in the game, Pat Summerall one of the great announcers of all time was blandest of the bland, and that was a part of how it used to be called years ago, and Joe Buck is a great mixture of that and modern emotion

He really is. I think a lot of people blindly hate on him like sheep because it’s the cool, popular thing to do. But to me there’s nothing like America’s game of the week with football or the World Series with Joe Buck on the mic. The World Series won’t be the same without joe buck now that he’s with ESPN
i say this without a shred of irony, one of joe’s best qualities is that he knows when to let the moment speak for itself. too many guys like romo and vasgersian just won’t shut up when something happens but joe knows exactly when to let the video and audio take over
Joe Buck from like 2012-16 was iconic. Now it’s like he’s trying to hard and his voice seems like it’s higher and it cracks more. Went from really low and monotone, to almost perfect, and now it’s almost higher and annoying. I want to like Joe Buck and I did for a while, but it’s starting to get hard again
All these actual children in the comments not realizing that joe buck completely changed his style in the late 2010s and became much better. Go watch 2009 World Series highlights or something and you’ll understand why people hate him.
People hate but you don’t have to be loud and obnoxious to be a good commentator. Sometimes commentary can actually detract from the moment. Let the atmosphere and the noise speak for itself. Buck understands this
The dude actually has no idea what he’s talking about whenever he does nfl games. It’s either he struggles and barely gets one coherent thought out or aikman just bails him out and does it for him. Plus this entire compilation is just him screaming that the game is over.
