I gotta disagree with this one man.. an ima HUGE YB supporter I’m from Louisiana I’ll be the first one to tell you YB is becoming a legend in real time! But I don’t think Joe was coming from a place of pure hatred what everyone somehow didn’t seem to hear was them say “this doesn’t sound like the YB before” I think Joe was saying THAT ONE album was trash to him for HIS EARS compared to what he liked from YB before… and kinda got lost in his comedic nature and went too far I don’t think he thinks yb entire discography is trash. He even said it sounds like someone who’s stuck an depressed Joe doesn’t come from our era he likes bars and rhyme schemes.. YB wear his heart on his sleeve and give you what he’s feeling at the time it’s not about rhyming or being the best rapper it’s bout being true to himself and never standing down an living his truth that’s why ppl love YB an it’s also why Joe didn’t understand the album or connect with it I think this just a big misunderstanding and both Joe and the other dude like YBs music just not this album and as men we gotta learn to be ok with people not liking one thing from us but still rocking with us as a human being. But I just also feel this is a horrible time for music with all the shit going on in the world an shit getting so expensive to live the last thing people care about buying right now is an album… not to mention people attention spans so fucked up from social media the new generation can’t even sit with something an take it in… just my opinion tho.
