I remember reading the facts of troy ave arrest. His vehicle had out of state plates with a stash spot. The police obtained 3 weapons including the one taxstone had. In ny I never seen anyone get 1 year for to illegal guns ( plural) and shooting in a crowd. Ny and nj has no self defense laws. Troy on stand to alleviate time off his wrong doing. Troy testifying on Tax at Tax's murder trial was to get a lighter sentence for his own gun case. His gun case is seperate from Tax's case legally, though one could argue they're linked due to cause and effect. Had there been no fight which led to the shootings which led to the struggle for the gun which led to Troy having the gun which led to Troy having his vehicle searched and the cops finding ALL THE GUNS. It all stems from the initial incident. With that being stated, Troy testifying on Tax to get a lighter sentence in his own non related case is snitching. But fuck your enemy nonetheless.

I think a big part is being missed about the Troy Ave and Taxstone situation - they had a street beef and they both said that it was marked for death on site - Troy Ave got caught slipping and not taking the stand and cooperating because of nothing more than to make deal for the guns that were found in his vehicle after the shooting - he’s 🐀’n to get a lighter sentence on his guns - nothing more nothing less. He got jammed up with the guns and telling because a deal was made for a lesser sentence.
