i guess kinda, but noone been checking for new usher music since he started doing them EDM joints with Swedish House Mafia type shits and his last Platinum was in 2012
Ye is one of those people. For every seemingly retarded and obnoxious thing hes ever said or done, for his ENTIRE career, hes backed it up to a point thats almost unbelievable. No rapper is close when it comes to consistent critical and commercial success over the last 20 years. Its unheard of for someone to handle mental issues as notable as his and just never really falter. Apart from the Donda and Jesus albums (which still objectively sounded good) every other album hes made is considered vlose to a classic either by popular consensus or simply through their influence. He became what hw said he would be. Ill forever be a fan, mans a legend.
“Hold me like your only son, Hold me like ya homies in the Chi when they hold they guns… Hold me like a trophy in the sky when they know they won.” That’s some of the best lines Ye ever spit out his mouth. Amazing.
@@jamariwalker2435 Yo dude I’ve lived in Las Vegas for 30 years. Vultures 1 released on Saturday February 10th dude . Super Bowl was February 11th . So if you were in Las Vegas for Super Bowl weekend you probably wouldn’t have heard a lot of Vultures songs in the club because the album had just dropped that weekend. Plus streaming services was pulling the album on and off. Come this weekend to Vegas and I guarantee Vulture songs will be banging at all the clubs
He killed do it also. Look man that narrative is corny YE was never lyrical. Hes shock rap. And has comedy in it as well. Why people ignore the two most hiphop songs on the album. Problematic and king? Both those records are incredible. At this poiint people are just hating. My beautiful dark twisted fantasy wasnt lyrical. Ye got outshined by every feature lol. But all his lines stood out. Same with this album. Everyone is reciting his parts.
Classic among the all time great Hip Hop albums? I'm guessing it isnt. Havent heard it yet. But i predict; weak rapping, weak singing, autotune garbage, electro trap beats, some stock electro sound effects, pop-ish bullshiit. 🙃🙃🙃
I love it yeah we gone take over the year for another year, the song should’ve stayed on that beat I understand the new thing is to change beats but that first half is amazing
@@roychicagodude5379And yet here you are still following his career. Eventually, when all is said and done, you will realize what you can’t now and understand what Ye has done.
@@vii9284 It can be that depending on the context. And 16 songs are also a body of work. As an example, if one album of 16 songs was about trains and there was another album of 16 songs about cats. There is definitely 2 bodies of work. It’s all about context. There are multiple bodies of work.
I’m wondering what sound will he give us on Vultures 2 and 3. Wonder is he gonna do more rapping on those but anywho i love the album and as a Chicago nigga i appreciate the Chicago house music he had mixed in here also.
@@dre27321Never assume with Ye. It likely will sound similar but most recently he was just in Italy with Russ recording even more music, so he’s not done recording.
It’s a classic, they’re expecting Gorgeous and Saint Pablo on every track. Nope, Ye was going a more direct approach. Like Yeezus. And it was fantastic. Can’t wait for Vol 2
After this and donda, kanye solidify his position as the greatest hip-hop artist of all time, production top notch, how he used Ty $ melody in king is pure magic 🪄✨
@@derekschwartz3955I swear I thought I was the only one who thought this. He either just agrees with Joe or says what he thinks black people would want to hear
And btw…. Nothing is a “play” about the $20 merch. Ye got a good girl from the hood that he is inspired by. She is filled with love and wisdom and she helps him. He’s being genuine about what he is doing. Time and truth will tell all.❤️🙏🏽
It's really a Kanye album, y'all say there's some bad rapping from Kanye on this album, even tuned him out in a way, but it's a good album? I am confused. lol
It disappeared because Ye changed distribution in the middle of the drop. Spotify replaced it too, but they chose to have two versions up at the same time during that transition period.
He literally tweeted some wild sh about the Jewish community, they were cancelling him. Next album drop and he has the number 1 album on billboard as an independent. That's talent though. Damn
The first sober non-melodramatic review of the album I’ve heard from a major platform. it’s always a bunch of ppl tripping about ye music every time he drop but Ice never wavers
VULTURES definitely a classic...some songs could be longer but beggers can't be choosers...can't wait to hear part 2 i hear WEEZY has verse of the year
@@2whanne Kanye fans can be very delusional, Ye can release a song of him taking a shit in the toilet and they will call it a masterpiece. This is Kanye worst album, doesnt even come close to, graduation. late registration mbdtf, 808 and heartbreak etc. Even Donda was far better, Vultures has it's moments but it's pretty dull and the mix is awful, lyric are bad too.
@@Bobbuildertrash Yeezus was an actual boundary pusher for music that took all sorts of risks. The only thing Vultures risks is Kanye’s reputation as an artist and as a celebrity 😂 I guarantee when all of Ye’s stans grow up into their mid twenties and mature a bit, they’ll come back and think “Ew, I actually liked this shit? 😬”
Crazy the industry had to turn their backs on him in order for Kanye to realize the power he has. Sway tried to tell him he didn’t need anyone to put him on
Production is amazing per usual, great feature performances. Lyrics/substance were garbage, and its not like i even look to Ye for good lyricism, but I agree he seemed more like a producer/composer on this one. He has far better projects
I’ve never understood why people say his lyrics were not good in the past, there was a substance there. This is just incoherent on this one. Yeezus at least has intention this sounded like an accident
I cant stand budden never saw once of his videos and opinions.. but i saw Kanye i clicked. This is shows hows kanye is culture. We give a daayymn about him.
Exactly. If you really listen to his lines, virtually every single one had a purpose, but he found a way to deliver them in a comedic corny way as usual. That’s why voice continues to matter in rap. The creativity oozes everywhere. Folks who like straight lines will be off put by his lyrics but frankly the only thing I didn’t like was that at times he was rapping off beat. That just means his talent to rapping is not elite which we always knew..
Be real we never went to Kanye for the best lyrics, we love his music as a whole lyrics the production etc. we never looked at Kanye as a spitter so Joe yall got to stop tryna hold him to expectation
Joe. Respect for holding friends down. I don’t know ya’ll got all the right voices. Check what Mase and Cam doing by. Don’t gotta bite, but you can diversify
The guy really said "i liked some of the album" like he thought it was average.. then said "i loved the first 7/8 and the last 5"...lol so thats 3 tracks max on an album u dont like...at what point u gonna realise you just hating 😂
I agree with Ish, it doesn’t feel genuine bc if you wanted all this to be affordable, why sign a multimillion dollar contract with Adidas? How long was you gon b working with them for them to get their investment back?!
the album is kanye, the album would not exist without kanye. reducing the output to verse is the same was calling andy warhol a painter. or jeff koonz a sculpture artist.
Yezos now raps using SIMPLE ENGLISH for the CEOs and International Audience listening to him. its E-Z & CLEAR TO UNDERSTAND WHAT EXACTLY HE'S TELLING THE WORLD. Msg is not lost being too complex. " simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication "
