There's a reason why artists don't battle rap. Not because they can't lyrically keep up but because battle rap needs more than just lyricism. It needs energy, performance, style and emphasis on delivery. Even if breaking down bars is corny it builds a bridge for the slow thinkers and brings the crowd into the battle that all adds to the shock value. I think some people over hyped Hollow and under play Joe's bars but they both missed for me at times. Only cause some battles bar for bar eclipse this one in their overall performance.

That’s cuz battle rap isn’t rehearsed. It’s all done in real time, the magic is in the production. If u look at KOTD, URL or any other REAL battle league, they know what they’re doing and don’t have there production issues. Total Slaughter was the worst event in battle rap
