Joe did 2 studio versions of this songs. The other one has an organ solo instead of the steel guitar. I have both & the LS original in my Cocker playlist!

It is one great song! Joe was and is a great singer! And the man has been known to blow the doors off every now and again! The video was fantastic! I have a tendency to forget, that people must be making movies like this all the time! Afterall, it is the Internet, where else would you find such jems if not here?

Can anyone tell me about this version? It sounds VERY close to the original studio, but it isn't. The studio track has piano all throughout and strings. It also doesn't sound live. Frankly, his very was never this crisp live. I am wondering if this is either a studio outtake, or the original studio vocal track with a different music mix behind him. I think I like this version better... it's cleaner. Whoah... just got to the end and heard the slide guitar. If this is from the 60s or 70s, there is really only one guy for pedal steel... Jerry Garcia. Just found out Joe died today, so I am soaking in this song over and over. It's his best, by a thousand miles. Thoughts out there?
