Seeing Leon Russel (piano), Bobby Keys (sax) and Rita Coolidge (vocals) on the tape was like seeing old friends. You will be missed Joe, but music will still be loved. R.I.P. brother.
Wow, great stuff, how the memories start to flood back and my parents stories all start to come back to life. Hearing and seeing my parents through the memories of others seem to be an intoxicating elixir.
IF YOU LIKE THIS MUSIC AND WANT MORE, MORE, MORE, YOU NEED TO GET THE DOCUMENTARY "MAD DOGS AND ENGLISHMEN" AND SEE ONE OF THE WILDEST TOURS YOU'VE EVER SEEN!! You WILL watch it over and over.. R.I.P. Joe Cocker..
Leon Russel looks stoned out of his head in every clip of this movie I've seen. In my opinion, this is one of the 3 best live albums I've ever heard, along with "Live at Fillmore East" by Allman Bros. & "Live Bullet by Bob Segar
The best sounding song in the movie; but none of this footage is them playing it. The cameras must not have been running. Chuck Blackwell on the drums.
