Its supposed to be a younger mike in bcs by bb he has mellowed down into a solid enforcer for gus who looks after the minions and cleans up after loose ends like walt and even manages to mentor jessie into a halfway decent soldier by the end. When jessie leaves into Alaska he is more like mike than walt.

I just started the third season and DeRosa is genuinely a better actor than a lot of top celebrities in Hollywood. He fits right in with the rest of the cast. Compare any of his scenes in Better Call Saul to Jason Momoa's performance in Dune, holy shit man

Good ol’ “no shoulders” Derosa. I think it’s funny that Bill Burr and Joe Derosa use to be roommates, one was in Breaking Bad and the other in Better Call Saul.
They turned Mike into Mr Miyagi in regards to fight skills. I never went beyond season 1 of Saul, always said I'd catch up then it ended and I figured it was too late. Same thing happened with Weeds, still haven't gotten around to watching the finale that aired like 10 years ago. I'm not sure if I'm more or less likely to watch Saul if there are more DeRosa episodes.
My son just really got into this show but I never liked Breaking Bad . I don't get anything about it . So I find it hilarious because I have no clue what the hell is going on .
