Any tips for leading the move at 0:17? I tried it once at a congress last weekend and it failed. I tried to work it out with a friend during practice and I had trouble figuring out where I should be facing and the path that my hand should be taking. She basically didn't keep going into the wrap and it just felt awkward overall. Thanks as always!

With the help of Joe’s and Byron’s video, I’ve learned the following: 1. I’m 6’5. For me to execute this move properly, I have to duck down to the follow’s height. Helps remove tension from the arms and makes the move smoother. 2. Like Byron, I start with my hand behind me head, at shoulder height. 3. I had this idea that I had to get my arm over my head by two so that I could lead the wrap by the and of 2. This didn’t work and felt awkward. Instead, I start rotating to the left around beat two while at the same time bringing my arm over my head. It didn’t occur to me that as I’m rotating to the left, so is my hand, and thus so is my partner. I keep the follow going into the wrap after I get my arm over my head around beat 3 (just like Byron in that video). Joe, I’m so happy you’ve got a video of yourself doing this move.
