I think what we’re seeing is a man with the football knowledge of a 40 year old veteran with the in destroyed body of a 30 year old or so. Those years Flacco wasn’t playing hard football are paying off in still having a healthy body to pair with a keen mind.

As a 49ers fan I find the Flacco/Browns story and their underdog status this year being one of the hottest teams in football quite fascinating.

I find myself frequently comparing, in my thoughts, Flacco to Mahomes in terms of character and maturity. Pat is a man-child with his tantrums, etc., whereas Joe is a full-grown man who handles himself as an emotionally mature and stable person.
