I have heard that Joe may be having some health issues...here's wishing him all the best and here's also hoping he knows just how beloved he is by so many fans..if there was a Mt Rushmore of modern sketch comedy, Joe would be right up there with the best. One of the very finest of the "fine, fine quality" comedic geniuses on TV's greatest comedy show...ever.
I, too, went to Point Park University back in the 1990s! John Amples star of George Romero's Martin was the acting teacher in The Playhouse at that time.
Sad news, Joe kicked it today. At least he can crack jokes with John Candy in heaven, probably asking Joe why he took so long. RIP Joe. BTW Sorry about Part 2, Mike. Glad you did Part 1, Joe's war stories made my day.
@@VHScape - Which I've heard. Too bad you never found out in any more follow-ups, who would have been the inspiration for his characterization of Floyd Robertson as SCTV News anchor. I still wonder if it was veteran Pittsburgh anchor Bill Burns he was channeling, or if not him, them whom? I wonder if his daughter would know . . .
