Thrillist has a track record of making videos with awful hosts. This guy is an incredible host-- sincere, down to earth, kind, puts the other people at ease and lifts them up. He makes this series 100 times better.
*_"Girl, you need a whuppin."_* 😂 Chef Tiffiany is a treasure. And gotta give it up to Cliff for keeping it real with a Coney...simple but delicious. This was indeed a fantastic finale to a fine series. 👍
I just had to pause this to say that this is quickly becoming one of my favorite shows on RU-vid. The host has a great personality, and I love the fact that here is an African American showcasing diverse people making great food. And for that, I will be subscribing! Keep up the good work!
*When he pulled the pizza out his pocket! lol You know when someone take some to go and they about to go to another food spot, that pizza had to be fire!*
This is an amazing video! I'm so glad to see Detroit, and it's food, shown in a positive light. This is a great city that gets unjustly discounted but we never quit; we used to be called "The Paris of the Midwest" and the city is making a huge comeback. Thanks for the showcase!
Bro you did my city so much justice! From Detroiter to Detroiter there’s so much love and growth coming your way and you’re about to change the lives of these chefs just givin them an even bigger platform so much respect!❤️
This series is awesome! Cliff is one of the best RU-vid series hosts I have ever seen! 🚫🧢 He’s so authentic. The chefs in each episode are inspiring, genuine and their food looks incredible😍! Thank you Thrillist for keeping it real and creating an all round brilliant show. Please bring out more episodes🙏
After having lived outside of Detroit for 20 years, I can honestly say, the food in the D is of superior diversity, quality and flavor to other cities. Amazing food that is sorely missed when I’m away❣️
I love happy news from my hometown!! Cannot wait to visit these ladies when I go home... Detroit is 100% possibly THE most underrated food destination in the U.S. and AYYYEEE Boss up and get this money @21:32
God damn! Cherelle's smile is so gorgeous & contagious! Absolutely love everything about this episode especially the two beautiful, passionate, hard working ladies that were featured! Hope both of their business' & ventures in life succeed even more than they've expected it! They deserve it, & this is what social media is about!
@Evan Harris Name the industry? You mean Budden and his minions and CTG? Apart from that other person who really had an issue with him was Bitch Mensa.
What another rad episode, was really glad & hyped to have stumbled on this series. Really fell in love with the host after sorta not digging him right off the bat but you can tell he's sincere in what he says & does. Also the black woman was such a beautiful soul/woman/chef. Absolutely love her positive vibes & passion for her work! Nice job Thrillist!
A great perspective on Detroit to start the episode, beyond the episode just being great in general. I think food shows don't do this enough. They empty the food culture of a certain space of struggle, of culture, and of people. You see it most in food shows in and about New York that hyperfocus on gentrifying restaurants. Love InstaChef, love the host.
16:08 oh shit i know her, its crazy i've been following her on IG since she had like 30 followers; its amazing seeing her grow her business like this!!
Chef tif use to come into a job I worked to pick up supplies for to go orders when she 1st got started soooooo happy for you this is big...love Detroit congrats Tif
