jandvadams no, you don't know a thing....sorry to say...but, let me introduce myself....the song writer you never heard of...simply because I wanted my privacy....that is what made Aerosmith...along with many other bands I wrote music for back in 1969-1980. Its just that weird chemistry they have together. I think its funny when people comment about how old and tired they are. If you like thier music they are never too old ( as long as they can still perform and sing the songs the way we expect). It takes a hell or alot of energy to sing a song when youre running and dancing across a stage. No body goes to a concert unless they want. Evidently plenty of fans still buy the tickets.

I imagine that Aerosmith as well as so many other bands that have been together for so long, that, like a big family, there will be squabbles, head butting, tempers, aggravation, and the usual sibling style behaviors. But in the end, yes, they stay together and get the job done. In the video here, Joe seems to tolerate as much as he can, probably usually does. But I can imagine what he was saying to Steve that we didn't hear. Like, "Will you knock it off and let me do my solo already?!" or "Will you grow up?!" lol

Just a little eyeliner for Steven lol.... I had ahold of the back of his head at a show in Atlanta years ago, (bony little head too) he grabbed me and pulled me toward him during Joe's solo in "Monkey on my Back"....so I took full advantage .... foreheads touched, looked into his eyes.... a little cat eye brown eyeliner lol.... got a big kiss and he ran back to the mic to finish the song..... so many stories, .....about herpes lol I LOVE this band.....

No, no & no... it was a classic Aerosmith performance. Shit like this always happens, there is even a name for the two I forget it rn but they are like siblings, they have their ups & downs but more ups as Joe once said.

@@Nalydretsbew Yeah, I'm a big Aerosmith fan. I know their relationship. Btw, They call them the Toxic Twins. Also, I've been in many bands so I know how it feels to be like brothers with band members but even still it can rub you wrong if they mess with you too much while you're having to really focus(like it did Joe here). If it's a solo you always play just like the album, it's not a big deal cause your muscle memory takes over but if it's a solo that you improvise to some degree and your singer keeps bumping and distracting you, it can easily screw you up. Btw, Frampton recently got mad at a camera man for repeated filming a lady dancing crazy because it kept making the crowd cheer. Afterwards, some people were accusing him of being jealous and uncarimg to his fans. But Frampton said he just got mad because he couldn't focus and he assumes most fans are trying to watch the show. Frampton ALWAYS improvises so he has to focus. Btw, He made it up to that fan, he was just mad at that camera man for a moment. Cheers!

T- Boog I mean you don’t necessarily have to play the solo just like the album and if you can’t handle Steven Tyler being touchy with you on stage well your playing then you shouldn’t be in Aerosmith. He is not just some random guitarist like you or possibly me, he is the lead guitarist for AEROSMITH, he shouldn’t have focusing issues in my opinion and I’m not even gonna get started on what you said about Frampton that is just stupid your playing at a god damn concert, there will always be uncontrollable screaming, cheering and shit.. 🍻
