So the part about Koreans, is that in same gender friendships.(girl - girl and boy - boy) it is very important to touch each other to show affection, things like hugging, holding hands etc. are all seen as important steps of trusting your friends in Korea. Meaning that if a person who is not Korean is groped even for a photo, it is a big compliment because it means they trust you like a friend :) The next biggest form of flattery in Korea is when your friend wants to wash your back in the shower but that requires a little more context but it's funnier if I don't give it to you.
