Having been to Copenhagen at least 6 times (with 2 more visits coming up this year) I can vouch for Danes' sense of humour, but they're such awesome people. I'm even contemplating moving there this year.
I lived in Denmark fro 8 years 2012-2020 and it was great. I lived in Brøshøj (part of greater Copenhagen area). It's easy to romanticize Denmark but there are many downside sides to living there. I speak Danish and integrated well, but ultimately my wife, kids and myself moved to Texas (where I am from) for the time being since I missed home and wanted more options.
Its soooooo funny how nearly half of the vid is the fan meetup, but then again, we had sooooo much fun that it only makes perfect sense tp me. :D Thanks for comming over! And who knows, maybe next time I'll upgrade you to a "decent" beer for a decent youtuber.. Just maybe (y) ;)
It also helps that this was filmed many years later than Finland&Sweden. I think Joe’s current interview technique is better than back then, and he gets more out of people.

It's impossible to not start a JG marathon if you discover this channe for the first time. Saw almost every single video and I don't regret one second (maybe except the eelpout vid). Joe's a fuckin legend! Best interviewer and most entertaining shit I've seen. Give this man an oscar ffs!
I'm so glad you still do these videos. You deserve way more attention than you get..my only suggestion is to make catchier titles (you can still just write Joe Goes to X in a title transition) as well as thumbnails...might think about investing in some SEO software to help appear higher in the searches. Anyway, keep it up man, you're hilarious.
Right, Denmark. The reason Danes are happy is that there are a large variety of social services available to all, they're considered human rights. That means no janitor is struggling to make ends meet, nobody is drowning in medical expenses and everybody has access to education. This has created a culture wherein, as a general rule, no professional path is looked down upon, and you're not better than the janitor. This does not mean that economic ascendancy(getting rich) is frowned upon, it simply means that your integrity isn't worth more than that of someone bringing in a lower salary. You know those shoe polishing stations you see at airports and outside stock exchanges? You'll never see a Dane sitting in one of these, the audasity of another person kneeling down before you and cleaning your shoes is simply too much because, as I wrote, culture dictates that that man is worth no less than you. This is why Danes are happy, culturally, we're all equal.
Yeah! You can even get an AK and join one of the gangs in Norrebro. Everybody is happy there, even if rape is increasing, gang violence takes no-go neighborhoods, you can´t question Islam or go close to women covered in black or grey from heel to toe. But self -censorship in the media avoid talking about crude realities: just blame racism.

I agree - but many foreigners doesn't get the 'danish level of sarcasm'. And i even can't tell sometimes, because i see more and more people, in DK, taking "nationalism" a bit too far.

And there's nothing called "pure Danish". Denmark is in a position where a lot of mixing happened. I'm Swedish and we are less mixed. It's not bad to mix though. It's not better either. Good genetics happen between two person with good genetics, regardless of their ethnicity or nationality.
+Rollo Q Show me your sources then, the ones i found clearly says that only his mom was part jew way back the family line... we're talking about 300 years of lineage in Denmark for her "jewish" family mixed with Danes most of the way. Her father was part jew born in Denmark, her mom was Danish, her grandfather was a German born part Jew, her grandmother a Dane, hardly a full jew however you look at it. There's not a pure "breed" from any country, since we all immigrated, conquered and mixed at some point in histrory, but you know exactly what i meant, so let's not go there.
