In front of over 6000 fans at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland; Joe Hendry performed his version of Queen's "Bohemian Rapsody" before his match with Davey Blaze.
Acidicle I love how 27 seconds into the video he says "COME ON!" to his broadcast partner to try to encourage him to get into the whole Johemian Rhapsody experience.
WWE's been phoning it in on entrances these last couple years, but NJPW has been stepping it up. Either Wrestlemania or Wrestle Kingdom, Joe could do great. Plus, if it's Wrestle Kingdom, imagine how much fans would cheer if he said some of the lyrics in Japanese. Especially if it was something like a Naruto or One Piece opening.
It honestly is mate, best promotion in Europe IMO. I urge you to find ways to watch ICW by any means possible if it isn't coming to the network like everyone says
Jack Almond I really wanted him to go, have a long title run at WCPW, meanwhile Davey turns into a monster heel, fucking up everyone, and if you want to go that far with his character, make him the World Champion. Then Hendry can return, cost him the title, and they can have a triple threat for the title with whoever is the champion at the time
ICW can't afford to lose Hendry for a year. it would be good story wise but unfortunately there is a lot of potential with Hendry that just can't happen due to business.
Brian Garcia Legally, under copyright laws, parodies are protected, however, I doubt WWE would want the negative attention of a lawsuit with a high profile pop star
Ali G On WA actually they probably would though joe would be in the right and the media would make the pop star look bad and make joe out to be like weird al and actually get some attention from new people.
Well, it would be like Weird Al. Technically they could do it without permission or buying rights. However, if they get taken to court there is no guarantee that they will win. I don't see Vince inviting a lawsuit like this, and WWE is no Weird Al, artists just wouldn't let them use the songs like they do Al.
All they'd have to do is "Jimmy Hart" it. Change a few notes. But parody is fully protected. As long as he's not singing the exact same song he would be legally protected.
Wwe needs to sign this guy he is so charismatic funny and skillfull he is one of the best indy wrestlers in england and i cant wait to see what he does at the orlando show on april 1st
Scott's Week In Sports if you like him why ask to kill his career. WWE cant get NXT wrestlers right on the main roster. They would screw him as bad as they did Colt Cabana or most other incredible indi guys.
I'm no being a jerk but WWE used Kevin Steen right for a year on the main roster, now he's a Brawn joke, Sammi was never used properly, Sanity is already a mess, Asuka vs James Ellsworth?!!!!!!! Bobby Roode Samoa Joe, they blew Shinske vs AJ .I haven't touched most of the tag teams too. WWE drops the ball.
Supposedly WWE has just signed a deal with ICW to put them on the WWE Network. Apparently the WWE UK Title will be defended in ICW as well. Who know what will happen next?
I normally like his comedic covers but this one was horrible. You can't butcher Freddie Mercury's voice like that and still continue the show. He went from being a lampoon legend to an X-Factor reject with this one....sorry mate, you failed here.
Raywowomg It's a Queen song and completely out of tune. His other entrances are covers of bad pop songs that don't have the same vocal power of Freddie Mercury.
