The real issue here: How do Northern Europeans DEFEND themselves and their ethnic interests if they are so prone to this individualism?? It must have been regulated by other factors as well or they wouldn't have survived. The same question crossed my mind. WEIRD societies are being exploited by non-WEIRD tribal people. One solution would be punishment of cheaters, another solution would be higher ethnocentrism, e.g. tribalism, but at the national level. Alternatively the WEIRD social institutions will collapse from the exploitation pressure, and we will be forced to revert to tribal institutions to survive.

Well that's because it's untrue. Just think how important clans/houses were particularly to the aristocracy of the time period. They're simply biasing the nuclear family when we know that is a modern invention and by all metrics inferior to a clan system. Asians out perform native born americans because of their extended families.
Most of this I agree with but destruction of the kin group makes no sense in this order as those laws and marriage laws existed in Rome, as well, that's where they got it from because they sure didn't get it from Christianity, yet Rome developed a far different society, basically a theocratic autocracy by the end of the empire. Even with the Roman Catholic Church trying to enforce those laws, Europe for the most part ignored them. Heck, Frankish kings were still taking concubines for a long time after Christianising. I think you're biasing the nuclear family, which is actually a pretty modern concept, nor is it all that effective. Asian Americans do better than native born americans in large part because they have large kin groups and extended family.
