“Extra’s” Tanika Ray sat down with Joe Keery, Maya Hawke and Gaten Matarazzo as they promoted the third season of “Stranger Things.” During the chat, Joe reflected on how much Gaten has changed since the beginning of the show. Watch!
Maya fitted right in this Season 3! Her character Robin, is the kind girl I would be friends with back in the 80’s... fun, smart, imaginative and not too uptight to hang out with.
Landen Drake I’m 6ft and I went to the premiere, and I’m at least two inches taller that’s what I judged the height on I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure he’s around 5’10
Nick de Rohan I know; I thought that was sad how they all just sort of left Dustin. And we don’t even really get to see Dustin as someone who is happy in love especially where we don’t see them together; just interacting over the radio with him and Susie. It’s cute but I felt like Dustin got left out a lot.
Steve is loyal to Dustin because he stuck by him and he was loyal to Robin because in the 80s coming out would have been quite difficult due to people not being accepted as much but he accepted that Robin was a lesbian and still remained the nicest friend to her. I love Steve
Haha Maya is such an introvert. You can tell she's internally freaking out. I feel ya Maya! Interviews let alone conversations, I have the same go-to fidgets and looking down on the floor to help ground me. She did an amazing job on the show.
After watching Season 3, it was no doubt brilliantly written. Totally different style of writing for this season. You can tell that the directors and writers giving their imagination to these actors/actresses, and allowing them to come into their own was great to see and display what they wanted us to see. How they dive into a serious dark tense vibe, but then right into a comedic way to enlighten the fans was fantastic. Best season yet!
I loved the 3rd season but I hope they don’t make us wait 4 years or something to make a 4th season Edit: omg tysm for all the like I’m so glad that I get the chance to get my comment out there 💎🦋💫💖💕
Maya was such a great addition to Stranger Things. She reminds me a lot of her mum, especially in this interview. I hope to see her in the next season more (if there is one) and many futures things to come.
Keris Morris That’s not a spoiler, I already know what it means but it means nothing if you haven’t seen it Also why are you watching these if you haven’t seen it!
TheLocalKFC We don’t KNOW they mean Hopper, but yes I agree Hopper is almost certainly still alive. If you watch the shot where the “Key” is exploding (just before the Russians scientists inside get vaporized) you can look where Hopper was standing and he is not there
I think she’s either really tired or just neverous and awkward because it’s her first ever press junket which are also very grueling as your forced to have conversations for 16 hours straight with random people in rapid succession. She’s definitely out of her element here.
When the kids have interviews together they talk over each other and everything but when Gaten and Joe have one together joe gives gaten his full attention when he talks
Robin is amazing. Maya did a really good job of playing the character Robin. I loved Robin character so much she seemed so chill, like you wanted to be her friend.
Maya Hawke looks just like her parents it’s crazy lol, all these cast members including her, have a great future, I can’t wait to see where their careers go
If I don't see mike playing basketball next season I will be pissed he's like 7 ft now lmao. Looking like Wilt from Foster's Home for imaginary friends.
Wow. She looks so much like her mother (Uma Thurman) here than in the actual show! Am I the only one who remembered how Winona Ryder worked with her father (Ethan Hawk) in Reality Bites?
These were best characters with the best storyline in season 3. Vintage 80s having a bunch of teenagers infiltrate a secret Russian base and ultimately outsmart all of them. When Dustin took down the Russians, I literally got up and cheered! Long live the scoops troop!
