Han pasado ya demasiados años desde que en 2015, Joe Louis Walker visitase por última vez Jazz San Javier. El corazón de blues de nuestro festival se resiente ya de la prolongada ausencia de uno de nuestros músicos de blues favoritos, que nos ha ofrecido momentos inolvidables en sus anteriores visitas.
Cantante, compositor y guitarrista espectacular de blues eléctrico, NPR Music le describió como “un legendario icono del moderno blues”. Nos encanta su álbum “Blues Comin’On”, con colaboraciones de Keb’ Mo’, Eric Gales y Albert Lee, entre otros, y sobre todo su álbum de 2014 “Hornet’s Nest”, del que dijo el Chicago Sun Times que “es la prueba viviente del potencial ilimitado del blues”. Un poco de ambos y de su último álbum “Weight of the World” nos ofrecerá Joe Louis en su ansiado regreso a nuestro festival.

Too many years have passed since in 2015, Joe Louis Walker visited Jazz San Javier for the last time. The blues heart of our festival is already suffering from the prolonged absence of one of our favorite blues musicians, who has offered us unforgettable moments on his previous visits.
A spectacular electric blues singer, songwriter and guitarist, he was described by NPR Music as “a legendary icon of modern blues”. We love his album “Blues Comin'On”, with contributions from Keb' Mo', Eric Gales and Albert Lee, among others, and especially his 2014 album “Hornet's Nest”, which the Chicago Sun Times said “is living proof of the limitless potential of the blues.” A bit of both and his latest album "Weight of the World" will offer us Joe Louis in his long-awaited return to our festival.
