They have had 3 coaches and still do this. There is no coach that is going to come in and save them from themselves. Tatum and JB have to give a damn and play like it, the team will follow suit.

That's what happens when you don't have defined roles like a true floor general true point guard, and a post presence to run the offense through. Too many wings, this positionless basketball leads to no floor general and in tough times It's all haphazard just jacking up threes. White is our quickest guard and he can't always break down a defense to create for others he's more of a scorer, I think Austin Reeves looked a little bit faster last night.

Yeah Joe is trying to SAVE FACE. Concern is there but it's more of a complacency from Brown and Tatum. They should be OFFENDED that Austin Reeves got off this game. There asked to do a lot, but their talent warrants they are capable. With two days off, I expect a BEAT DOWN the next 3-4 games and finishing strong before the All Star break.

People wanted to fire Ime before Boston turned it around and went to the Finals. First year coach Nick Nurse won a title and Ty Lue won his first year. Coaching is not the sole reason for these losses.

The sad part is he's sitting there trying to defend a strategy that's being forced on him by Brad Stevens, but he can't acknowledge that fact because Stevens is like you know trying to be behind the scenes now, in case his positionless strategy with all wings and No defined roles keeps falling flat on its face in the pressure moments.

Well lakers played like they were about to loose a chance to continue playing with one of the greatest players of all time! While Celtics were like, y'all again, they just played like they wanted some rest looking so lethargic! This was another tough schedule loss lots of games in a short time span is rough on the body and even mind which was displayed! #Celtics shall look at all the things they did wrong and Lakers did well and move forward like they learned from the lessons of this game consistently!

I mean, you got secondary players with a knowledge and understanding of the game plan to defend us. But we have no game plan apparently on what to take away from them. With a few exceptions, these guys have been in a league long enough to have tape on them.

Joking his way through questions about his team’s motivation, effort, and poor defense. Losing to a much less talented Laker team seems to be fine with Mazzula. Feels a lot like the past where the Celtics turned the switch on and off. Not the way to become champions.

After a yr of experiment Mazzulla-Mindset it seems like he’s compensating for something, and in a defensive, sensitive manner. Even here 6 seconds in you can see he puts on some rehearsed acting face, nervously touching his surroundings. It’s like he was a psyche major who’s in his own head and out of his league

Lakers start to go on a run in the first qtr, Tatum clearly needs another offense threat on court, what does he do? Nothing … they go down by double digits lol. You could replace him with a Labrador and the only thing that would change is players would feel happier.

He uses the terms "us" and "we" but I do not think that he truly accepts responsibility. He does not say what he could do better. It is almost as if he is incapable of being introspective. I appreciate that he is ready to move past it because that is what the team needs but he really needs to take a hint and improve his coaching as well. Plus, I like the journalist commenting that "they are adults". I am about tired of Joe asking people if they have kids in regard to "his" players "listening". Sometimes it is the message itself or how it is relayed as well, sir. Just do better.

This guy's a Looney tune No mention about the strategy of positionless basketball affecting us in tough games, He's not acknowledging that it is the style basketball we play or lack thereof that is the real issue... with no defined roles, No floor general and Madman Mazz removing our only post presence that was having an effect it is clearly on the coach in large part. Listen Mazzu knows who tf 1 am and what my philosophy is. All he needs to do is stop listening to Brad Stevens and use an approach more in line with what I'm looking for, if we don't win a championship they're going to can you either way, so you might as well do it your and my way.

K ok this is what calling teammates out does, this loss shall be good for the Celtics, its the wake up call they need anytime dropping a game to the lakers! KP looked half himself banged up out there and the team embodied it unfortunately. Hopefully some rest is coming after a grueling schedule! The next step is knowing that if you get bested by in what you do best you shall get beat! Therefore, the MINDSET should always be to give very good effort so your ready to give great effort when it matters most in the Playoffs!
