Joe Pesci kicks Frank Vincent's ass in the film "Raging Bull" (1980) directed by Martin Scorsese. Cast: Robert De Niro as "Jake LaMotta" Joe Pesci as "Joey LaMotta" Cathy Moriarty as "Vickie LaMotta" Frank Vincent as "Salvy"
After the beatings Frank Vincent took from Pesci in Raging Bull and Goodfellas, he finally got justice in Casino. The scene was nicknamed "Frankie's Revenge" on the set.
Andrew Lavallie Were Pesci and Vincent REALLY BUDDIES or mere professionals that were acquainted with one another? I always wondered way Pesci never made a cameo on The Sopranos?!
@@1trucxhondamov589 He was too big for that. Actually, by the time the show was out, I doubt he would have made a cameo in literally anything. 90s there might have been a small chance, but that's it.
@@johnkidd797 I have worked with guys in the slaughter house 5"6 and 165 pounds that could beat the crap out of most guys 6 inches and 50 pounds heavier
@@bradfarrahgerwing154 I'm 5'8" and 72kg, hardly a giant. I had a friend who is no longer with us and he was a European heavyweight kickboxing champ when he was young. He said that a good big guy will always beat a good small guy and that is true 99% of the time.
Joe Pesci is like a pro wrestler He has a couple of moves, a swag, a catchphrase & he gets the 1-2-3 Then, you come back & watch him do the same thing in his next 3 movies
He sure does. Frankie even humiliated him by stripping off all his clothes and put sand in his mouth and blood. BTW it was 3 times Frank Vs. Joe. Casino Goodfellas and Raging Bull.
That’s not true because I have bought women drinks for no reason. Buying a woman a drink with the intention of sleeping with her and trying to hide your interest and thinking that she is gonna be dumb enough to not see through your hidden agenda is spineless shit. Just cause you spend a few dollars on a drink does not mean she owes you her body. If you are doing it cause you are interested in her you make your interest clear. Otherwise you do if without expecting anything in return.
@@robertthomas2601 It was a movie, I believe Joe Pesci's character read too much into that and as usual was over prone to violence. Joe Pesci and Frank Vincent had been going at it for years in every movie, basic scenario: Robert De Niro (partner), Frank Vincent (adversary). Most of the time Pesci wins but Vincent got the best of Pesci in Casino! 🙄😃
I cannot believe Frank Vincent and Joe Pesci have been beating each other in so many films for so long. Frank would be in Irishman for sure if he was still there.
I've just noticed that in almost every mafioso role Frank Vincent was in, his character has some kind of misfortune involving a car. Getting slammed by a car door in this, being stuffed into a car trunk in Goodfellas, and in The Sopranos he gets into a car crash because of Tony chasing him and not to mention his iconic death scene. I really hope this isn't a coincidence, what a great running gag that would be.
+loveharrydaily Cathy Moriarty was so natural in her acting. De Niro said she had great instincts. You can see that. One of the best performances given by a female in a Scorsese movie.
Arse Robinson Scorsese movies to me always have bits of black humour in what is usually a very serious scene. The funniest scene for me in this movie is when Robert De Niro knocks out Cathy Moriarty.
There’s Dan Conte in the beginning talking to Pesci, Dan also came out as cameos in Goodfellas, Casino, he even had a big role in Sopranos in Frank Vincent’s (Phil Leotardo) gang. Let’s not forget he came out in Family enforcer with Frank & Joe. Dan Conte, Paul Sorvino, & Clem Caserta among others were always underrated to me, they deserved more Scorsese Screentime
Believe it or not my grandmother is like this. She used to get in fistfights all the time. Now she just cusses people out. One time she called a crossing guard at my school a "fat bitch piece of shit". Lol, we live in portland so she is the only italian in the whole state haha. Too bad she married a german and i couldnt get more of those awesome psycho genes lol
+MDCKilla Ah come on only because you're italian doesn't mean that you know everything about your country and you don't have rights to say all italians are like that,i'm italian too and i can say that acting like that is for jerks, you should shame your self because you're italian and you're making prejudice about your own person (if you're really italian) just to have 5 likes, you're disgusting :P
you got that right ,, my aunt Mary was a little women , but the second my cousin sonny would lip off she grabbed her shotgun she wasn't playin either I seen him dive out screen doors , windows , over garbage cans , and run for his life, but the funny thing is,, after it all calmed down she would look around and say , okay who wants ravioli
