@@danmcmurphy2823 con artist how? she's an army vet and a patriot who loves this country. Did you serve or you just using vague buzz word talking points the left always uses when they can't back up their accusations. So again how is she a con artist?
@@jfar3340 your inability to accept criticism of this person across this comment section is indicative of your delusion about this person. if you don;'t see that then check the relationship you have with women and how you consider them.
This episode was hilarious because for some reason Joe and Iliza just couldn't get on the same frequency and the awkwardness of those moments had me rolling
What made this more weird is that she has been on this podcast before and they got along super great, so something happened before this specific podcast that made him sour towards her. She did nothing wrong from what i see, joe rogan on the other hand was being a total dick-douche.
i don't think I fully agree; despite a few awkward moments I thought it was a great interview. Joe rarely has female guests on his podcasts and the conversation between the 2 was very interesting and the flow was very natural.
@@jfar3340 Lol you sound like a guy who keeps statistics on the number of female guests he interviews. She was by far the worst guest he's ever had. Like why even come on the show if you know you disagree with Joe on so much.
@@gb342002 I think the interview was very interesting and no they didn't disagree all that much, a lot less than the Matt Walsh interview (EDIT: she came on the show because they re friends; he had her a few times and obviously has a deep respect for her). I don't keep statistics on the number of female guests but I can tell you it's a very low number, and I don't mind that it's just what it is. Most comments here are hating on Iliza out of pure misogyny and this comment section is a sad echo chamber. Keep in mind: Iliza is a gazillion times more successful than any of the losers in that comment section including you (but not me).
@@gb342002 What's wrong with openly disagreeing? That's the main point of conversation to get your ideas across and if they diverge, excellent, just make sure you know what you are talking about. And have enough practice in your life time that by the time you are an adult you can do so in an eloquent, sincere fashion.
I think she wasn't trying to make a hilarious joke. I think she was just trying to lighten the mood but this was one of many moments where Joe didn't get that someone was kidding. He's done this with many comics.
"People have these locked in opinions of people." As she says that every woman in politics is hated because they are a woman. Then Joe names a woman in politics who was very liked, and she has no clue who that is. Says everything you need to know about this type of person. She clearly lives in a bubble and avoids shattering her illusions whatsoever by talking to anyone who might make her reconsider her preconceived notions. Hence why she was lashing out at Joe here.
But you're implying everyone likes Tulsi which is far from the truth. The only reason you ppl like Tulsi is because she shits on liberal talking points. Point blank.
@@edsayswhoa4365 I hope you had a blast beating the shit out of that strawman you constructed. I didn't even say I liked Tulsi, I said that she was very well liked (across the political sphere). I disagree with a lot of her policy proposals, and generally don't find myself compelled to vote for her. But I respect that she has consistent principles, and understand why many like her. I would guess that many like her because she has principles and isn't a raging idiot like a large number of people in politics. You sound like a pathetic ideologue with nothing to offer judging by your mentally retarded comment.
@@SefniAsheforr Personal attacks huh just show your lack of intelligence. You say strawman but you have no substance to argue about it, just two strangers' opinions. What principles of hers do you like? You only point out that she is liked in the political spectrum by who? Current progressives or liberals or democrats see for what she is a grifter in republican clothing. She only claims to be independent to play both sides. She is no different than Sinema and Manchin. She dropped out the presidential race then endorsed Biden; just shows how popular she was. Iliza mentions Warren and Rogan calls her a con artist, yet the biggest con artist is Trump but offends Rogan and shit gets awkward. I’ll state it again only reason ppl like Tulsi is because she shits on liberal talking points plain and simple. She is no different than Kayne and Candance Ownes. She just bats for a different team now and those constituents jumped on her bandwagon.
hahahaha "tasty shreds" "bro-tox" "the fighter and the creatine" "protein truck diaries" "the proteiny-est" haha ahh these are weak but you get the idea
This episode triggered me…anyone else find her particularly horrendous? She epitomized the term “stupid smart people.” The hypocrisy was abundant, acted informed, but was actually I’ll informed. Then she seemed combative… idk couldn’t finish, like her a lot less which I’m pretty sure shouldn’t be the goal.
Every episode she's done with Rogan has a majority of the comments sharing your same sentiments. This particular one I'm still watching and trying to watch it with an open mind and open heart as if Iliza was my sister or daughter. As arrogant and ignorant as she can sound, I believe it's important to view her in a loving light. We don't know her story but there's obviously some deep pain inside because otherwise she wouldn't have such a big focus on unbalanced views. Here we see her sum up her belief that if a man doesn't like a female politician it's mostly because she's a woman and not a complete corrupt sell out. Rogan stating he likes Tulsi almost left Ilizia speechless because Rogan, as a man, doesn't fit Iliza's deeply ingrained belief structure. I feel sad for Iliza. There's another part of this podcast where she's talking about men in the comment section typing violence towards women they disagree with. I read comments all the time and it's rare if I ever see any like that and if I did/do it's so asinine that I hardly pay it serious attention and sum it up to a person with major issues or a 12 year old kid who's veins are flowing with Mountain Due Code Red that's looking for attention. Further more, I wouldn't be surprised that if some of these comments Iliza talked about are coming from jealous hateful women hiding behind fake profiles but to her that statement probably makes me a woman hater lol. I truly hope she finds peace within. She's smart and I think she's stubborn enough to keep hacking away at an issue to get things right in her life where she's wrong/unbalanced.
I clicked on this for this exact comment. She’s liberal all in. To stick up for Biden’s cognitive capabilities as if they aren’t on the decline and making sorry ass excuses for it. To the fact she talks about how joe rogan doesn’t always have the right Info as if she’s the arbiter of truth… can’t stand her in the interview at all.
then he will loose his lefty friends and his show will suffer. plus its good to have others around you that dont think the way you do. dont get me wrong, i heard nothing but clichés and contradictions from her with most of what she said.
@@jasonbrown467 idk any leftists that like Elizabeth Warren, just phony rich liberals with a "nevertheless she persisted" sticker on the back of their tesla
I’m glad everyone feels the same way about this one, I think I got ten minutes through it before I turned it off. She seems to be the type who only listens to one news source and takes it as gospel.
if she listened to news she'd know who tulsi gabbard is. Both sides talk about her I think shes toobusy looking in mirror or phone. besides that shes sleeping.....three priorities. honestly giving too much credit that she watches any news or pays attention. She might be a nice person just insecure and overcompensates obviously cringe to watch. I feel same way as you too for record :)
@@jacobmatthews7524 yes she's very talented and awesome. If you don't see that then check the relationship you have with women and how you consider them.
Totally relate. Watched her in a movie about the fake Yale Graduate a while ago and thought it was pretty good. Noticed she was on Rogan and I thought “oh I’ll listen” then watch her special! After the comment where she said that men who drugged women were prolifers……I consider myself pro choice but I thought that was NASTY
The fact that Iliza didn't know who Tulsi is says EVERYTHING about her and shows what a wonderful guy Joe is for not kicking her in the ass. She's almost 40, looks it, and doesn't know who Tulsi is? A great example of how Brandon got into office.
5 minutes in and I took it off from listening lol. This is the same woman that tried to say that SHE was the one that started doing drive-in stand-up comedy during the pandemic, when we ALL knew it was Bert that started it.
I feel bad for joe, he wakes up, works out, goes for a cold plunge, plays with his dog and then heads to the studio for a fun conversation, and instead has to talk to this person.
Joe isnt a tv host. When people show up looking for someone to laugh at everything they say and agree with them, they get real uncomfortable real quick.
it's really fkn annoying how someone like her just shows up to the podcast with NOTHING, meanwhile everyone is trying to get on because this is the Superbowl of podcasts, this podcast can make you, his kryptonite is these pity podcasts, he does a lot of women favors by having them on, he helps some guy friends but ya know..with women we men guilt trip ourselves
She was definitely rude however I think that “ I had my mom on a podcast” line slipped out in the heat of the moment. She looked like she knew she fucked up by saying that. Still I’m sure joe isn’t a fan anymore
😆😆😆 I love Joe, man. I honestly think he tests himself with these kinds of personalities. He did this pod during sober October, so no weed to make him the nice person he says weed makes him. I admire the way he challenges himself, and I think it's a really beneficial practice in knowing who you are and growing for the better through self introspection and application of wisdom.
Joe likes a cold plunge because it’s not fun and builds fortitude, Joe likes to talk to cold morons because it builds fortitude and helps potentiate the human growth hormones.
I've enjoyed her Netflix specials, but found this podcast unwatchable/listensble. There is no sense of self reflection at all. Her comments on public healthcare (in Sweden I think) left my jaw on the ground. She has no capacity to consider people with dissenting opinion. Just seemed like a horrible person in this podcast.
it was one of those episodes where i couldn't listen to the entire thing, i listen to podcasts at work to get through the day and she was actually making the time go slower, she's a terrible person and so full of herself. The story where she went to a hospital in Europe and asked if she could get better healthcare because she's a celebrity made me make such a face that a co-worker of mine asked me if something was wrong, lol. I just can't believe someone like this actually tours around the world as a comedian.
Bro this podcast was brutal to sit through lmao, the only reason I got through it was because I was multitasking and doing something else while watching/listening. If cringe had a picture it'd be of her no doubt about it lol.
If you are a democrat and don’t know who Tulsi Gabbard is then it means you pay absolutely zero attention to politics and probably shouldn’t lecture others on it.
I don't know did any body found that but I think she is impersonating Bill Burr, the way she said "who isn't" is like a Bill Burr response with the gestures leaning on side etc.
I wish Joe had challenged her a little more on some of her statements. She so blindly defends those who align with her ideas that she basically said it’s OK if the the pres. has dementia as long as he’s doing things I agree with. I don’t think anyone, in good faith, could say that Biden has the mental capacity he should at this point. Hypocritical is a fair term to describe a lot of what she says. Imagine her response if It were Trump saying “no one f’s with a trump” That said, a lot of her stand up is hilarious and I don’t have to like her views on everything to find her funny and entertaining.
This is too awkward, but I couldn't stop watching. You can't just throw out such a vast generalization on JRE and not expect Joe to start questioning the shit out of your logic.
Her comments on this episode about abortion and people who are Anti-abortion were some of the most grotesque and absolutely ill informed opinions I've ever heard but this is America and there is freedom of speech and freedom to be stupid. Good thing spotify doesn't have a comments section
He should have a proverbial eject button. As in ending the interview as if it was planned. Then have a plan B that is used intermittently when needed and listeners are familiar with. It would make it better for him and the listeners. The guest may or may not realize they’re a dud. It would end the misery for everyone.
Joe, looked miserable sitting there, talking to her. It's one thing to have a disagreement about whatever you're discussing. But not about every single thing he said.
For some reason this whole episode was hard to listen to “okay I had my mom on my podcast, you wanna flex?” It’s like hey stop trying so hard. Also not knowing tulsi is like what are you doing here talking about politics?
This woman just reacts without thinking. Quick wit means you actually have substance to your fast reply, Liza just says whatever in on the top of her head. Just stop for a moment and think before you talk sweetheart
Everyone has an opinion even those in Hollywood. Her views are hers but obviously Joe realizes he shouldn’t have gone down that path of conversation with her.
This basically just said “I liked her because she’s a female”… this episode was hard to get through. I am totally fine with someone having different opinions than myself. It’s one of the reasons I enjoy this podcast so much. But this girl is a walking contradiction. Respectfully Joe, do not have her back. It seemed like you didn’t enjoy this either.
