“You know, a lot of times comedians have ironic nicknames. A fat guy being called tiny. A sad guy being called happy. A guy named Vos being called Rich.”
Colin's greatest Lines on O & A in no particular order Colin- Calls Any a Tunisian Knife Fighter Colin- Said Bobby looks like a last minute gift idea from a Beijing Airport Colin- Calls Bobby Genghis Delouse (highly underrated) Colin- Bobby looks like a statue in a Yakuza bosses garden Colin- Calls Jimmy Norton a Larva Colin- Calls Kurt Metzger a Bosnian War Criminal Colin- Tells Patrice he's going to chop his hands off and sell them to an African Village Colin- (on pandering to blacks because of slavery) we're in the middle of the worlds longest apology Colin- Tells Bobo he can't imagine the horror thats about to be visited on him Colin- Calls Patrice a Black Filibuster Some Other things Colin said Anthony Cumia reminded him of - an Armenian Blacksmith - an Arms Dealer from Damascus - A Bad Guy in a Pirate Movie - A Turkish Tea Salesman - An Azerbaijani medicine man - A Magician on a Cruise ship - A Knife wielding Villain from Raiders of the lost Ark Ohhh Col....
A lot more enjoyable than Distefano babbling for 2 1/2 hours straight about how mental he is. One real long run on sentence. This was a lot more easier to listen to for sure.
Norm McDonald and Colin Quinn along with Patrice O’Neal are my top three I’ve seen perform in real life, Thank you Col for all your contributions to comedy! ( I remember when he asked Norm on O and A about their elevator “passing of the torch!”) Lol classic Quinn anecdote and classic Norm response!!!! Look it up if you’re stand up “enthusiasts” lol
Hearing Collin saying to Joe "I think it started way before then. I think we did it to ourselves" in the face of Joe telling him about Bezmenov is excruciating though. People don't get it. McCarthy was right, and his over-reaction and all of the slandering of people as secret communists was ALL a part of the plan. Within no time at all the movement of people spreading the ideology don't even realize they are carrying a message that the Soviets implanted. The Soviet Union just didn't last long enough, and the irony is they pretend Putin wants it back. He does, but his entire deal is ideologically different.
RIP Patrice. I watched it every night and I feel privileged to live at a time when people were liberal enough to handle sue Costello calling Patrice O'Neal "king kong". If bill Maher had any experience with that show Bill Burr would not have been able to "tough crowd" him because he would have known enough just to say "shut up stupid"
@@beauclark1650”you and this guy trashing me, I mean I like Colin but what’s he doing? I can’t tell you the level of rage I felt at this back alley Tunisian knife fighter”
Shout out to Robert Kelly and Sometimes Colin Quinn, the literally best quinn roasts of all time. "Why don't you go stomp out a fire in the congo, you fucking rhino", "Why don't you go charge a wildebeest"
Jaime deserves a lot of credit on his quick turnaround time getting these episodes edited and posted. I appreciate the fact we arent watching something recorded 6 months ago ❤
______ is the most ______ person in history. Insert whoever you like and what they do, and you get 20k likes and 10k more comments with people arguing whether it’s true or not. It’s a great formula for exposure
@@DelcoTrash the irony of your comment is delicious... Imagine disagreeing with someone with absolutely no counter argument. You just stomp your feet & yell: "NUH-UH!" And you have the audacity to call someone else emotional... 🤣
@@DeckofLies you think I commented for exposure? How would that work? It is all to drive people to my channel that has no content? Or you think I am working for Joe Rogan...the most popular podcaster on planet earth, because he needs my help for exposure? I'd like to hear more about this brilliant marketing theory you're developing.

50 years from today, we will be nothing more than photographs in someone’s family album. 100 years from today, if they didn’t write your name on the back of your picture, no one will even remember your name.
First time I saw Colin Quinn, he was like the MC on that 1st game show they had on MTV back in the 80's. His only job that I remember was a mid-show breakdown of how stupid the 3 contestants looked. The host, who I can not remember, would come back from the first commercial break and ask Colin what he thought about the contestants so far, and he'd have these hilarious insults for all 3 of them. It was F'ing hilarious. He's also low key the unintentionally funniest SNL Weekend Update. His self deprecation when his jokes bombed was the best part of the segment. I LOVE Norm McDonald, and he get's the official crown, but Colin gets the Unofficial crown.
Glad to see everyone paying respects to Colin. I hope you all went and subscribed to his youtube show, its mostly tours around historic NY sites but hes still fking got it
JRE would be a great place to do a Tough Crowd reunion. Have them every few months/years like "protect our parks". Old ones like Colin, Rogan, Nick Dip, Norton, Vos as well as newer guys like derosa, gillis and maybe even nick mullen if he's willing
Seriously, what's stopping Colin from resurrecting Tough Crowd for an online show? He's got enough top comic guests that are surely willing to get it up on its' feet for months. It was ahead of its time in the early 2000's but it's perfectly designed for right here and now. Stop reminiscing about what it could have been and just do it over like a boss.
He's stated multiple times he just doesn't want to do it. He won't do it. Everyone of the old Tough Crowd guys and other comedians have asked him, Anthony of O&A asked him, he told all of them the same thing, his heart isn't in it.
Man, Colin is so funny, a true comedian. Doing his special in front of a therapists convention is absolutely fucking gold. And he just casually mentioned it in reference to what they're talking about. Leg.End.
Bashing Fat Bob Kelly and Yuckmouth (Vos) are two of my favorite O&A episodes, as Colin rips each of those guys apart with some of the best insults you’ll ever hear. “Bob shoukd be throwing a spear at a whale in Manitoba…whipping huskies on a sled”, not to mention comparing him to a last minute gift at a Beijing airport. But his best line to Bobby was telling him, “your problem is that you wanna live the American dream and you’re unfit for it.” 😂
Colin’s comparison of Mecca to Medina at around 1:21:00 is brilliant! He compared Mecca to Springsteen and Medina to John Mellencamp. 😂 Too bad it didn’t get a laugh.
Someone in the comments said Joe Derosa looks like Jared from Subway. Spot on! Derosa's got a sub shop. I refuse to support an Egyptian run business because it's probably a pyramid scheme. "You either die selling footlong heroes or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain." - Jared from Subway
