Andrew Huberman changed my life. There is literally a 180 degree difference between where I was when I started listening to him and where I am now. I owe this man a huge debt of gratitude.
Imagine if we were taught the stuff he talks about in school instead of *insert nearly anything here.* We would likely have colonized space by now. Just sayin’
@@marcosbarcala6249 Thanks Macro! Luckily I was ready to hear it. One thing’s for sure, if I can do it anyone can. You just have to be at a point where you are willing to listen, learn and take action I guess.
I love Joe, but he was really annoying in this episode. Constantly interrupting Andrew and not only stating his opinion but making it sound like his opinion is the truth (versus maybe asking Andrew if that’s accurate or not - this is a Stanford professor you have on, not some random comedian). Hubes handled it really well.
I love Joe's podcasts usually, but was it a dominance thing with this one? Not cool at all. I think Huberman handled it very well, but I wouldn't have blamed him if he was pissed off at the way this podcast went
i thought the same too. Joe needs to know when to stfu cause we are all thinking that he sounds like a clown speaking on subjects he is not an expert on.
Thank you. He clearly has no intellectual respect - but of course not. He's a dumbass. But his "nerd hate" came out heavy. It's obviously low self esteem.

@@Kwatson855 acknowledged...but he is more than a professor at Stanford. :) He is a natural teacher and loves to share information. You can see and feel his joy.
@@sinou-xt2oq Not jealous. It seems like Joe has noticed how many people shit on Andrew online and call him unprofessional or whatever, and now he's afraid that he himself looks dumb because he gave Andrew a lot of visibility.
Why the attitude and biting back Joe? Cutting off and defensively commenting back when there’s no reason to do so. Andrew handled it really well. Joe seems bitter or threatened by Andrew.
Yeah I was noticing that too . Very wierd. I’ve NEVER seen J act like that . This knowledge Andrew is dropping is fkn awesome, I’m very surprised he was being that way… maybe Andrew was boring him🤷♀️
@@bboysaif8 and he did, and does most of the talking. he had some scary info maybe Joe did not wanna hear! lol more info then convo, Joe likes convo too
Spicy indeed, not sure what that chest puffing was about? On the other hand, Andrew’s ability to remain all humble no ego speaks volumes on his character. Love hearing him speak human to human.
Dr. Huberman said it's not good to be on Ashwagandha long-term, however the green drink he promotes "Athletic Greens" or AG1 as it's called, contains this herb and the drink is to be consumed daily. The efficacy and safety of long-term Ashwagandha use over months or years is not known.
Meanwhile in Africa, India and parts of the Middle East humans have been consuming ashwaganda long term for millenia… It’s worth noting this historical fact.
@@1Ma9iN8tive I know loved ones who have tried to come off of this herb and it is a horrendous experience. Tapering for nearly one year still with side effects similar to those when tapering from psychiatric medications like Zoloft. Just because it’s natural doesn’t mean it does not have long term effects and changes to the brain. People consume it because it’s effective so it’s obviously creating a chemical reaction. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a believer in nature’s medicine but also aware they are also very potent and not at all studied long term. I have so much empathy for those trying to come off of it.
You know, here in scandinavia we like our saunas very hot and we alternate our visits in them with either snowbaths/ice baths in lakes; or by taking ice cold showers. And sometimes we use birch branches (smal ones with their leaves on) to whip our backs. So it is Always an alternation of very hot/cold. Tradition goes way back. Enjoy your next sauna!
Joe obviously didn't get his beauty sleep and cold therapy this morning, dude was mad aggressive. Andrew is a proper professional with how he dealt with it.
@@elvistohme I gave up every potential vice. Coffee, alcohol, smoking, stressful job. Body was able to heal. Did breathing exercises, saunas twice a week. Included ice baths after a few months. Lots of walking and then jogging eventually.

It must’ve been expensive! I was able to do this and get off Remicade infusions when I could afford the lifestyle . But eventually I went bankrupt, making sure that I got enough sunlight and not working two jobs to pay my rent which doubled and the obscene amount of $$$ that produce costs. As soon as I had to move into a tiny apartment that cost $2100 a month with black mold and had to limit my Whole Foods trips and eat organic produce from Walmart, my Crohn’s disease and psoriatic arthritis came right back.
She would do amazing getting on a payroll as a homeless out-reach program. She is a natural and has real experience that others would respect. She is the perfect go between, or conduit for homeless to get help
Yeah, Joe was really picking on AH for whatever reason. Maybe he was just in a bad mood that day. But AH seemed to have to defend himself. Give your head a shake Joe.
I can't dispute Huberman's assertion that warm exposure enhances tolerance to warmer climates and cold exposure does the same for cold climates. However, in my experience it's exactly the reverse, exposure to cold temperatures actually improves my ability to handle warm weather better. I believe this is a memory thing on cellular level, If my body remembers the cold it actually enjoys the warmth more.
I know.sick of hearing about cold plunges and saunas. We get it. Wish I could afford both of them at my house. But my God, tell me something I don’t know.
This video is shadow banned. It popped up once as a suggestion, I didn't save it to watch later and once I finished my stream I literally couldn't find this again. Not even on joes page. It took me 30 minutes.
I get my liposomal NMN from MCS Formulas in the Netherlands. It arrives via FedEx in a few days. Very high quality and it definitely gives me more energy than others I have bought.I buy a lot of products from Renue as well. The MCS liposomes are different in some way so they escape macrophages. No, I don’t have shares in the company :)
People are silly...anywhere I jumped in this episode Hubi was talking as usual like a million world in a sec and Joe is just being like maybe 15 % of all content has been aired here (maybe less). Thanks JA . good job u 2.
Why is Joe being so mean to Andrew? this is the first interview of his I have watched, watched half, if this is how he behaves to his guests, it's a no subscription from me!
... finding this while studying for an upcoming test is setting me up for failure in my understanding of gene expression, but I am sure, as always, it will set me up for success in so many other ways that it is well worth the sacrifice lol
Is this happening on your RU-vid too? I thought it was only me… I saw a new episode upload “1min ago” and didn’t click right away but then I wanted to look for it on the main JRE channel and it wasn’t in the recently uploaded, and then now, every time I refresh RU-vid a new episode appears like almost just uploaded
I think it’s because some of these episodes were not on RU-vid originally and they were only on Spotify so he’s re-uploading them on here for people to watch
I have same issue…you can’t search a recent uploaded video or see them listed on joes channel ….i only see videos on my news feed …. Probably due to algorithms
Joe that’s all corporate Media If you mention MSNBC, CNN, New York Times, mention FOX, Truth Social. You have a lot of influence over people listening to you. It’s important you advocate for CENTERr, so people are critical of extremes. LEFT OR RIGHT.
The ONLY reason South-East Asia is the largest ocean pollutor is because “developed” countries such as the US, the UK, the whole of Europe, Australia and Canada are shipping their waste to the South-East Asia, where it’s dumped and burnt, with most of it ending up in the ocean. America IS one of the top plastic polluters in the world with one of the highest plastic waste/per capita. Please educate yourself about waste colonialism and illegal waste trade before blaming the global South for the global North’s problem
It is possible the mammalian dive reflex may trigger underlying cardiac arrhythmia in select few individuals and may be limited to those with underlying channelopathy (sp?). Please check this with others much more educated than I. Thank you!
Both of these guys just gave a masterclass at presenting state propaganda tactfully in the beginning of the podcast and then proceeding to have a normal conversation about “other stuff”.
Probably because the guest generates a less dramatic and more informative impression on viewers. I also encounter it in my family, when I send them clips of Huberman they're not really interested.
It's a bit silly to think because someone doesn't look the part means they couldn't possibly know how to get there. Especially from these two. There are plenty of scientists, trainers etc that KNOW what they are talking about but have a difficult time applying it to themselves. It does not always discredit them. We are human. diet, training, mental health, it can be difficult to discipline , it can be especially more difficult for some personalities. Rogan says it often it sounds as stupid as it is. That being said I do think people like that are the heads of an entire countries public health sector SHOULD look the part and understand from direct experience .
And the comments, under 200. Weird as hell. I know he's recently had some controversy, but not many of his listeners dropped him because of it.EDIT: it was originally released 2023 lol, that would make sense, but still
