If joe watches a couple long interviews of Michael so he knows his story already and can ask different/ detailed questions instead of Michael having to retell his story for the hundredth time... This could be fucking epic!

yeah thats the problem, i have seen so many interviews, podcasts and his own videos that i myself can recount number of his life experiences. Joe interviewing him for 2 hours will be difficult without michael bring up stories of his medical school, meeting his wife, Italian liberation movement, petrol scam, being only one alive of five people who were made on the same day etc which now most of audiences already know.

Franzese is a very intelligent, well spoke guy. His channel has been a service to people who are in and out of the streets. I really like what he’s doing on YT these days.
Franzese came from mafia royalty, and had a good education and is extremely charismatic and polished. Seems to have been virtually a modern version of his dad, that never stayed in to go for the top job. He could see that with RICO, technology and multiple life sentences it stopped being worth the prestige, money and power. Awfully different to Sammy the Bull who certifiably killed 19 people, and testified (ratted out) Gotti and other top bosses, but also gets to tell mob stories for infotainment. You wouldn’t need to worry about Francheze, he is a gentleman, and (a hard-core Christian). His power derived primarily from his ability to earn more, than from naked aggression. (Not that he likely avoided having to pull a trigger to ‘make his bones’, but he would never cop to any murder that no-one can prove. Unlike Sammy, he never struck a deal for immunity for other charges except the gas one, and murder has no statute of limitations. The fact Sammy is has a RU-vid channel bugs me a bit. He’s a mass murderer, no matter how Sammy rationalises it. It is as bad as US’s Operation Paperclip, that Rogan gets so jacked about.) I think Franzese was allowed to walk away from “the life”, because he gave so much $$$$$$ to it, plus never testified (except to some game fixing that no one would go to jail for because they stopped doing it. He doesn’t say this, but also his “pass” would be from a legacy respect of his Dad, being almost the Gotti of his day, but never ratting out a single person - not even a crooked cop and doing every day of 50 years on a false charge. Joe, Michael Franzese is alot more than just an ex mobster. Hes actually got a really great story. His dad was a really high profile wisrguy in the 60s he got into it, found god and got out. Hes not a preachy preacher though either. You should have him on.

He explains his journey into his Faith, He is a phenomenal motivational speaker! I ate breakfast with him before he presented. He was a personable guy, I asked him if “jimmy two times” was based on a real person. He said that while most of the other names were real that one was made up.
