The problem is Logan Paul and his followers aren't going to understand how funny this is until their sense of humour matures beyond kindergarten levels.
Because of the general crowd. a LOT of people have a herd mentality. On the internet that translated to fake accounts creating buzz, and a bunch of sheep didn't want to feel "left behind", so, they follow the stupid to the cliff and jump laughing.
Vannik I don't believe all kids are stupid. Immature, and youth are two different things. A lot of smart children if you interact with crowds of them. More terrible, under educated, and unthoughtful adults though; example with the awful influencers as are the paul brothers, that have nothing to give in exchange for a platform. Feed stupid you get stupid. Kids reflect parental guidance as well; not always, but, their parental and surrounding influence shows in the early stages. Some people realize the wrongs as they grow, most don't seem to outgrow them.
I was not paraphrasing you as I made my reply, just explaining that it is not a default setting of children. I will agree that younger crowds as a general rule are more easily impressionable as you have stated. With that in mind, it is not solely younger brains, but humans in general. Why you also have crowds of adults supporting terrible people and terrible ideas, example, political situations. In my humble opinion, people (generalizing) are too fast to react, and have given very low priority to analyze. -- Kids will reflect (generalizing) their immediate surroundings; that been, caregiver/parental and the influence of where they are allowed to interact in society.
Rule #1: Never try to start something with a comedian for attention. Especially someone who's a veteran, especially known for his satire. Rule#2: Brush up on your insults and comebacks because I honestly felt what Chris tweeted to Logan flew over his head. The first tweet was a nail in the coffin the second tweet just rips a blackhole somewhere in the universe preparing to suck Logan to the void because that's where his humor belongs. Then humiliating yourself by trying to comeback with a tweet that isn't exactly an insult nor any form of coherent replay. Logan is the type that doesn't care about haters but as he and his fanbase grows older and (I hope most of the younger fans) grow wiser, they'll at least see how stupid they are. Logan is as sharp as a wet spaghetti and denser than a cabbage.
One thing I love is a man that don't back down from a rival...in some instances people think that's immature, but young people have nothing on the come back of older, wiser, faster, and more powerful element of age and experience
I don't think making fun of age has anything to do with how young people perceive aging. It's more that many old people are insecure about their own age.
Maybe. But my grandpa was at peace with his age when he was 30. My niece thinks 18 year olds are "old." Think I would lean more towards younger people not really grasping the concept and being more insecure about age.
0:32 Joe literally used to say that to Redban all the time when he was a part of the podcast. Anytime Brian would say something stupid, Joe would bring up his age.
Logan having the last laugh was more embarrassing than Tyron getting ko’d by Jake Paul. One might have underaged kids as fans, but Delia was shunned by his friends for going after them🤦♂️
I’m not a huge fan of Chris’s comedy specials, but I do think the guy can truly act. Most the sitcoms he has been in, he has done solid. Like his role so far in the Good Doctor. Seriously I think the guy can get some range given the right role.
