I can anecdotally testify that Zyn has probably saved my lungs. Started smoking around 13-14. It's now a decade later and I've gone through all the motions: Smoked socially, got addicted, quit for two years, started again, switched to vaping, then tried Zyn for the first time about 5 months ago I'd say. Have barely touched my vape in the past few weeks, let alone cigarettes. I bought a pack of Marlboro last month and still haven't finished it. It took some time to get used to the switch, but it's done wonders.
@@jmullentech I'm grateful to say I haven't smoked since then save for a few times when out at the bar; but I haven't bought any packs or vapes. So far Zyn has worked wonders
@@YouAdmireThisName Nice dude keep it up, I used to smoke through out my teens too quit smoking everyday when I was 20 and would just socially smoke at bars when drinking occasionally than just vaped and used nicorette. Ended up vaping again everyday but lungs started hurting so I tried on which is another brand of pouches and I love them, stopped vaping except randomly but I feel healthier don't have any health problems from the nicotine pouches besides sometimes I'll get nauseous if I have too many too fast lol. I love them though they're great and useful for anyone trying to quit smoking, vaping, or chewing and a lot safer than tobacco.
@@v1sudo Pepsi Dunno why but If i drink Pepsi that helps removing the burning sensation some teas also help. Water is not that good especially if you take minty zyn.
Quit chewing and started ZYN 4 years ago. I just quit ZYN 6 Wintergreen. Been absolute hell. Day #2 today Wish Me luck, please help Me through this. Day 6 No nicotine woohoo, will power baby!
I too quit smoking and later vaping with Zyn. Vaping is pretty hard on the throat I noticed makes me cough more than tobacco ever did. Probably because of shitty disposable vapes tho never had that problem with JUUL.
Thats what I did too, but am I the only one that noticed thick mucus the next morning similar to what I had when I vaped. Unless, its still coming out of my body from vaping for so long
I hope this stuff works for myself. I just learned of it and went and bought 5 cans of wintergreen. I been vaping since 2013 and long story short, where I'm moving I can't vape or smoke inside. But vaping did make me quit cigarettes but now I'm also just chain vaping. I got 6mg to start out with. I also hear you can swallow without getting sick. Fingers crossed😊
It definitely is helping. I can stay inside longer now without vaping. Gonna make a start date to quit like I did with the cigs. One week from today I'm getting rid of all vape supplies. My favorite is the coffee so far. 3 mg
Sweden invented lip tobaco, nothing can beat swedish snus, its the original. Altso, around like 50% of swedish people use snus so naturally the quality is way better.
ZYN was the best. I even used ZYN as my final stepping stone to quitting completely. I was tired of being a slave to nicotine every waking hour and missed the days where I could feel normal without it running through my system
I used to smoke cigarettes, but have instead been using snus for the last 20 years, with some 2-3 year breaks inbetween. As a Norwegian I have to thank our friends and neighbours in Sweden for this great gift. Snus is a deep part of the culture in Sweden, but also in Norway. It’s hard to explain how much joy and pleasure snus gives me. It’s worth mentioning that snus is not particularily harmful to your health.
@@taylorg8509It’s relaxing and great for concentration. I use snus so much when I’m gaming or working. It’s can be strong though, the first snus of the day after I’ve eaten breakfast always makes my hands a bit sweaty. Also helped me a lot when losing weight since you lose your appetite when you have a snus in your lip. If you’re not on any nictotine products I would strongly recommend that you stay away, as it is very addictive, more so than cigs.
@@IbnMakirtobacco isnt very harmful in its self. If it was, 50% of swedes would be dead by now. Nicotin pouches ...god knows what they use in them. Quality snus is natural without bs. I wouldnt trust any non tobacco pouches. Just like vaping. That turned out to be even worse than fags.
Snus is better, I don’t get that super buzz, I just get that euphoric focus power and I like that, it’s probably more neuro protective but I’d rather use these products once a week just to get through something, I’ll also stick to my coffee on most days but moderation is key and I’m addicted to that
Well all addictions starts with "only in moderation". Nicotine is the most overrated shit ever. It only works somewhat the first couple of times. Then you are just feeding your addiction. Glad I quit snus, feeling much better.
@@DanielAnderssson well what do we mean by moderation? I think having a consistent dose is much more like moderate usage than having an absurd dose that throws you emotionally around a roller coaster, there’s a reason why psychiatry exists, it’s because when we don’t dose, we become unstable and moderation can mean a lot of things. Dependency is fine, some of us need to medicate our mental neurological disorders to stay alive. Nicotine has therapeutic benefits like caffeine, dose matters and moderation in the dose matters, balance is key. You did a good thing for quitting, you were chasing a dragon that couldn’t be caught so I respect you for that but I still think there’s therapeutic effects from nicotine, it’s the buzz that is overrated, I hate it, I like the after effects from a buzz, the focus effects and mood boost. With my dose I skip the buzz and get focused and calm almost like a cup of tea
@@JZGreengo You can't apply your logic to very addictive drugs like nicotine. Truth is everytime you use and get your dopamine hit, the next time you need more nicotine. "Nicotine has therapeutic benifits" I see that your moderation logic is already failing and you are getting addicted.
Careful guy, I've been snusin awhile and it'll suck you in. I'm trying to get the courage to quit but its been tough. I hope you didn't fall down that hole
Haven't smoked or chewed ever in my life, started chewing zyns on a whim and I love them. Give me a boost of energy and a nice buzz, they also make me feel more alert and increases my mental sharpness
In Sweden Both original snus (tobacco With nicotine) and the all white snus like zyn is very popular. It feels like 40% are using snus here. Someone text chewing it, you just place it under your lip. No chewing.
Snus is basically grained tobacco, that you put under your upper lip. Its basically pure and give you the nicotine kick. There is nothing fatal with it. We Nordics have used it forever and its part of the culture.
@@MentorBobproctor from some cusrory googling, Vastly less cancer risk than chewing tobacco because of differences in processing (And , far less still than smoked tobacco) , but of cours it's still higher risk than not using it at all for certain gum disesases etc. Worth remembering that almost any processed food or drug has some increase in cancer risk (curing salts in meats, processed carbs/sugars, alcohol, unrestricted medicines like painkillers, anti allergy meds, sun screen etc. )
Tobacco in its pure form such as in Swedish or Danish Snus has no Carcinogens. There are no valid or dated reports of anyone getting cancer from using Snus for over 200 years. Coffee has more health risks for your pancreas than Snus. If you want you can do the research and find cases and show me, i am all idle ears to see the research and reports of ppl dying from its use, instead being a smartass and spouting the same stereo gibberish we've heard for the last 50 years. I'm American. I find it odd professional athletes don't have an entire can of copenhagen in their lip and no one uses redman anymore. That was normal, some of the guys smoked cigarettes on the bench. 🇺🇲 Good times.
I quit cigs for snus. Snus is stronger, less harmfull, cheaper (where I live), tastes better (especially some of those flavoured ones) and I don't need to step outside, I can pop them in where-ever. And it's super common here in Norway, you won't look at all weird with a big bump on your lip. I'm only 28 but I have accepted that snus is probably for life for me. Teeth yellowing is the biggest downside, but with these white pouches it's really slight, and teeth are one of the few things we humans have the technology to just fix in an instant
Dude I haven't touched a cigarette or any tobacco in over a year thanks to Zyn and other tobacco free nicotine salt pouches. They don't taste like shit like dip, they taste like the flavor they come in. They also last about an hour so, I'd highly recommend Zyn or Rogue nicotine pouches.
@@thegreatders344 Yeah the mint ones will do that in Rogue for some reason. I think it has something to do with the minty flavor additives they use. No issues like they from me with Zyn.
I think ZYN and other nicotine pouch brands is one of the safest ways to ingest nicotine. If you're going to be addicted to nicotine this is probably the best thing you can do for you health except for quitting. Anyone who is considering it however, take note that it is in my experience even harder than cigarettes to quit. Reason being that the nicotine dosage is a lot higher and you keep your blood saturated for longer periods. (Ciggies are more quick rush and then it dies) Snus or nicotine pouches will have the nicotine stay in your blood for longer. And, since you can pretty much use it all the time (no need to walk outside to smoke) it makes it even harder to quit. But it's nice.
For people trying to quit vape I think the nicotine is comparable. I recently started with ZYN and haven’t hit a vape since my first pouch. I went from Cigs to vape, and I really worry about my lungs. I swear I inhaled more vape than air when awake. Felt better in a matter of days
They also come in different strengths (1 to 4 dots) which is helpful if you want to taper off and quit using nicotine. The label on it specifies how much nicotine one pouch/dose contains in milligrams or the total amount in grams of one container (easy to divide by the number of pouches). Compared to vaping/smoking it's much easier to control your intake. The only issue I've come across is that some brands contain artificial sweeteners/stabilizers/sourness (eg. E 950). I'm allergic to artificial sour flavours, unfortunately.
In Sweden most people prefer regular tobacco snus. Although I think younger people (and more women from what I’ve seen) prefer Lyft and Zyn due to the more fresh flavours/stronger nicotine and not as much staining on the teeth. Personally I think the mint flavouring is kinda gross. It tastes like salty mint and isn’t refreshing at all.
You're not going to be able to quit you're only going to be able to substitute your addiction in a different way. The only way to quit is to be a hard ass man and be stubborn and say you're stronger than the bullshit.
zyn (and on!) helped me quit vaping, then i moved to china and picked up cigs again, but i just found a tobacco-free snus here and i can't wait to give it a try, just had a pretty big health scare recently, and that really put things in perspective.
ZYN IS NOT A SIN. HELPED ME QUIT BETTER THEN ANYTHING. NO VAPE NO CIGS. 6 was too much for me. Went to 3mg and then started doing no nicotine at all replaced it with morning cardio
I am 24 years old and had horrible chest pains back in April. Rushed to ER due to smoking vapes and cigarettes a lot. I am nearly 4 months sober free but I still get the itch to grab a vape again but I haven't. I hope this product can help me... It's hard to quit.
This product will 100% work... I'm going on 37 now... Smoked since I was 18 and then started vaping on top of smoking from 2015 to 2020....I started nic pouches in 2021... have not smoked or vaped since. But no doubt Im addicted to Zyn.
Been using zyn for 4 years and havent smoked a cig or chewed tobacco once in that time frame. Probably the best choice i've made for my health in years, my only complaint is the rising cost, went from $2.29 a can to 4.99-5.79 depending on the store in that same time frame. (Tip for new or prospective users, dont swallow the juice. Its apparently completely safe to do, its all natural, tobacco free, food grade ingredients, but spitting at least i.m.o. is waaay more enjoyable. Every time i swallow the juice i get pins and needles in the throat, start to hiccup and if i dont get a drink quickly i throw up. I say this not to discourage use, but to make a new users experience much more enjoyable so they will buy that 2nd can instead of going back to Cancer sticks or nasty mouthfuls of brown liquid and yellow teeth. P.s. Zyn is the only brand of nicotine pouches with insanely high standards for quality control... The others(Velo,Rogue,Onn,Zone) are all literal trash on quality 🗑️ Y'all do your thing, but I'd stay away from those brands, they arent similar at all to Zyn i.m.o.
I remember first trying snus in the summer. I vomited the first 5 times. I started using killa and then switched over to Pablo 25mg/g. Now I'm used to it and I use around 1 can a week
@@plugsdonttouchthis2369 pablo is the shit but i recommend going down to volt which is cheaper and better imo. There is also lyft or velo now. They are the standard ones. But if you want good flavors killa is the best out there.
3g's of kratom powder, 8oz cup of coffee, and an 8mg lucy pouch. That is how ive been rationing myself, and buddy, it is a BLISSFUL trio. Absolutely perfect. Lazer focused with 3 stimulants, but not jittery or anxious due to the kratoms anti-anxiety properties. Promise you wont go back, far superior flavor/buzz👍
General Original is the best snus for real men. Jokes aside, I quit smoking cigarettes 2015 and replaced it with snus. Sure, it's not risk-free, but smoke inhalation has much more bad side effects. There are lots of athletes in Sweden who uses snus.
My sister tricked some guys at a festival in Spain that ZYN was a drug similar to ecstasy. She asked them if they felt anything after 10 minutes and one of them replied "Yeah man, I'm already tripping). Nicotine is strong shit😂😂😂
Snus is proven quite safe after centuries of use, but these pouches aren't proven by time. They're probably safer than snus, surely way better than chew.
@@JUICECAT187 the same narrative was mentioned with vaping. Some compunds change depending on how you use it. As with any cooking oil for example. But I hope it proves to be "healthy".
@@fjalls yeah but when u vape it vaporises that shit and it goes in to your lungs which is bad in itself, nicotine pouches you just put inside your lip so I cant imagine it being any worse
The downside with Zyn that I've been thinking about is how the sweetener in it might effect hormones and such related to appetite and what not when your fasting for example. Since you basically are ingesting that sweetener almost all day every day. I realise that there's pro's and cons to everything but I've never heard anyone talk about it. It would be cool with a neutral flavored variant if you just want the nicotine. Also the sticky coating on your teeth if you accidently fall asleep with it at night, kinda feels like sugar on your teeth 😁
I feel bad people in the states that don't get the real stuff. You should most def give it a try if you get the chance, real tobacco without that artificial sweetnes and a rather subtle but still aromatic taste. Maybe you could order online, if so my recomandation would be Kronan! If you want to be a nicotine addict that is the tastiest way of doin it.
@@knut3hundra649 Hi can you recommend any completely additive free snus products, I have the same problem with all the sweeteners and preservatives, they don't agree with my body. I heard that general original is just pure pasteurised tobacco, no chemicals, is this true? Would appreciate a reply, thanks.
I quit smoking for the same reason. Was it a spontaneous pneumothorax? Switching to zyn is a good move, stick with it bro, good luck on quitting nicotine.
Ngl ive been vaping for like a year and had a hard time quitting but now whenever i get a craving i pop a zyn and dont feel like vaping. Gonna try to reduce the strenght of the zyn overtime and then quit nic completely
I was on these for two years, cool mint was my Jam, but they're still super addictive, check out the nic salt they use. I decided to quit cold turkey, still dealing with withdraws three weeks later. Well, I also quit caffeine cold turkey, yikes.
How's it going today? I went from cigs to vaping, then to ZYN. Fell in love with ZYN 6mg for about 6 months, and then worked my way down to 3mg for just a week, until finally deciding to quit cold turkey. It's been two days. It's not really painful, but more so a super annoying, something is missing feeling
@@steel128 yes the caffeine withdrawals are worse, that’s been months. The nic was more out of habit I guess. I got used to the feeling, liked it, and always had one in. If I didn’t it felt weird. @@metal1150 yeah, I know the feeling. I was tired of being a slave to nicotine, whether it was continuously vaping or sticking a nic pouch in every waking hour. As of now, I really feel like I'm over it
I’ve tried quitting both snus and opioids and i kicked opioids for a couple months but never went more than a week or so without snus. It’s that feeling of something missing all the time that gets most of us i think (especially that snus after a meal 😂). It aint a joke lol
0:09 zyn is Not just nicotine in it. It has aspertiane, stabilizers and other things so this guy is straight up wrong. Don't get me wrong. There are far less carcinogens and cancer causing chemicals in these pouches than actual tobacco but it is not "just nicotine"...

about a year and a half ago, I decided to try nicotine pouches. Came across it when I saw the cans in a shop a couple of years ago. Of course being in the UK, our illustrious and ever so wise leaders decided to make snus illegal, even though they approve medicinal nicotine prpducts for smoking cessation. This is probably because big tobacco means big tax, so we have tobacco free pouches instead... which is quite contradictory. It's crazy that the cans are brightly coloured and flavoured. The idea behind making our cigarette boxes have a standard design with horrible images of smoking related illnesses was to deter smoking in the first place. It's the nicotine that gets you hooked on smoking So my only bug bear with nicotine pouches is that they're visually attractive and flavoured. Smoking cessation research does not even support their efficacy for cessation because there's not enough to go on yet. Nicotine pouches have really helped me and I've had non smoker non nicotine friends ask me if they could try one. I always refuse to hand one over. It's massively addictive and distracting. Like getting caught out with no smokes you'll do anything for a quick fix. I know I've sold stuff just to buy smokes. You'll waste so much time and health with nicotine products. Tobacco free nicotine pouches are definitly safer than smoking but being addicted to the drug itself is a pain in the ass. Don't let pouches be a gateway to smoking as I've seen. I've tried everything to get off cigarettes. All the government approved smoking cessation nicotine replacement products. Problem is, non of it worked. The name of those products prove it. Nicotine replacement therapy products. They replace with nothing. They should be called nicotine reduction therapy products. If you have an oral fixation related to smoking like I have, then how's it going to work? These pouches have kept me off smoking because my mouth is doing something and I'm getting the nicotine. I'm healthier and feel more active for it. Once I'm comfortable enough, I'll go down the NRT route again to get off completely.
@@herv7539 The tobacco nicotine pouches are not illegal to possess and consume but they are an illegal sell. Won't find them in shops here. only the tobacco free ones which are brightly coloured with designs. Kids could take them for sweets. @@charlottejohnson5412 Fwiw, one could illegally purchase and import them for £3-5 per can from sweden for the actual tobacco ones, but there's also 'chew bags' available from a few tobacconnists which have the same ingredients, made by the same swedish tobacco companies, but are chopped rather than ground tobacco and cost ~£9-10/can . In my experience comparing Siberia, there's no discernable difference . Ironically, snuff (powdered tobacco thats snorted) uses the same ingredients of tobacco, salt and an alkaline salt with some flavourings, but is completely legal and , in fact, tax free. Daft laws to have the tobacco and ingredients legal but certain tobacco products illegal to buy and sell. Similar to hemp products and medical weed being legal, but weed itself is apparently not. ...
I started using Zyn about a year ago because it didn't hurt my gums. I thought it was safer. All of a sudden, about a month ago, my gums starting hurting like hell. I looked closely and they have receded entirely from 5 of my teeth, exposing the root. This stuff will destroy your mouth.
I’ve had a theory about this for a long time, thanks for confirming it lol. Receeding gums or yellow stained teeth is the choice between tobacco and nic pouches 😭
Ive done all nicotine forms. Zyn helps you quit chew or any nicotine.. but its staying quit that gets you.. it dont matter if 3 yrs has passed.. eventually youll grab a can of chew.. recently (instead of staying back with chew) started general snus and like it alot (after reading its healthier but going to research more) zyn will have you wanting more and more.. teeth will hurt and get so dizzy you will feel like you will pass completely out and chest pain like heart attack symptoms after continuous and more usuage at least from my experience.
You are correct, once a chunk of my incisor came off I couldn’t dip anymore but there’s so much nicotine in dip I’d have to chain smoke to keep my body happy from the addiction, even tho that’s a bad thing

After watching this video, I thought I'd give Zyn a try. When my boss at my old job chewed it, I thought this stuff was just for pussies. After trying the Zyn winter green 6 mg, I can say those babies are just as powerful as Copenhagen or Skoal, without the need to spit at all. And honestly, I think Chris LeDoux would agree with me if Zyn was available when he was alive.
I use to pack a lipper when i was in highschool for a short time. Dudes would be putting a third of the tin in their lip all the time. They would be buying logs of dip. I only did it for a short while until i got disgusted from it. But I do remember sitting in class with a bottle i would be spitting into and just having the gnarliest headbuzz ive ever had.
cocaine is way harder to quit than zyn, the guy could probably just get his fucking zyn still. So the "to give you an idea" bullshit is wrong, to probably just tell himself "man this is as hard as quitting cocaine", when it isn't at all. And have some sympathy for the poeple that are hooked on the hard shit because it's unbelievably hard and each step up, from smokes, to cocaine and alcohol, to opioids is a step bigger than you can imagine.
We have snus in Norway as well.. and Iceland, but there it's not legal to sell pouches, so you have to buy a ridiculous rolling style paper on the side..
