Joe Rogan tells why the fight didn't happen between him and Wesley Snipes #joerogan #jre #mma #martialarts #mixedmartialarts #ufc #wesleysnipes #fight Credit: Joe Rogan Experience #2073 - Derek, More Plates More Dates
Jon Jones would bend Rogan over in front of his family and take his you know what whenever he pleased. Rogan could be in the middle of dinner and Jon comes in bends him over the table with face in the mash potatoes and take you know what.
Rogan "Jamie pull that clip of that grizzly trying to skate uphill....here it is...wooooooow...look at that thing........can you imagine looking down their an seeing a massive grizzly skating up towards you...your getting fuuuuuucked up son!"
Snipes wanted to fight Rogan to pay his tax debt. He rescinded because he found out Rogan was the real deal and would be hard to beat, additionally because he managed to get the debt he owed cut in half in court.
If Joe actually took the fight and actually stood up (like he says here) I would have paid to see that, because Snipes is lethal on his feet, and Joe has some mean kicks. Would have been a good fight for sure.
i cant even believe HE Joe HIM talked like that for WS like lol this is just talk of the moment . lol his proly heated up at that moment not to just think that but say it out loud . and u have now 2 types of ppl in the comm . those who just suport whatever Joe says with 0 thought behind it.(mill of them) and the rest of the ppl
@@jmartx22snipes was on michael jai white level at one point he’s trained since a child. he would still be an amazing guest on the pod maybe you can’t read the OP ain’t said anything about a fight
@@barbalato5name one combat sport Snipes has actually competed in. Knowing kata is one thing, knowing how to apply martial arts in a fight is very different.
And a master Swordsman. But people like Joe love just coming out of nowhere with stuff like this randomly. Especially when the other party is retired or deceased
@@gershmeow3holy fuck, thank you, that's what I keep saying. Joe never dissed Snipes, that's why he trained so hard for the fight against Snipes. People always think Joe's attacking someone when they are mentioned.
Joe also said ronda rousey. Could destroy mike Tyson, .just before holly Holmes knocked her out, Don't pay any attention to what divvy. Joe says. Or he'll have you as daft as himself
Snipes has been training in martial arts since age twelve, earning a high ranking 5th dan black belt in Shotokan Karate. He has also trained as a student of Capoeira under Mestre Jelon Vieira and in a number of other disciplines including various styles of kung fu and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Snipes is my boy. Love his movies. He wasn’t taking Rogan. Pulling out of that fight was a smart move. Never getting into that situation in the first place would have been smarter
@@user-be3ef6oi8rYou believe everything Joe says, he would have gotten his ass handed to him. Joe was just learning Jiu Jitsu, Snipes has belts and been trained in BJJ.
I'm sure Snipes, a guy that has no fight record, is smaller than joe, would do great against the guy who at one point had the hardest recorded kick (152,000 franklins) and has a legit fight record. put down the pipe.
i like snipes but come on... he was going to get destroyed... also, not all training is created equal... have you seen joe's kicks... i would not want to get hit with one of those, it's like a mule kicking
@@notimportant3686 And Eddie Bravo admitted that Joe's Kicks pale in comparison to MJW's kicks. So what does that tell you? Just because you watch videos on youtube doesn't mean someone else is going to get "destroyed".
@@Andre-hu4je Although I think karate is not as effective as stuff like muay thai, bjj, judo etc. certain types of karate is quite legit. There have been multiple top-level fighters with a karate background Machida and Wonderboy to just name a few.
@@Andre-hu4je Yes exactly, Jon has many impressive wins. Machida was a light heavyweight champion in the UFC, so that just highlights how strong Jon Jones is more than anything... considering Machida beat legends like Vitor Belfort, Chael Sonnen, Mousasi, Muñoz, Dan Henderson, Randy Couture, Shogun Rua, Rashad Evans, Thiago Silva, Tito Ortiz, BJ Penn and Rich Franklin. If you've watched mma for the past 20 years, you'll know just how impressive that list is
I'm not sure Joe would beat Wesley Snipes. Quote from Google: "Snipes has been training in martial arts since age twelve, earning a high ranking 5th dan black belt in Shotokan Karate. He has also trained as a student of Capoeira under Mestre Jelon Vieira and in a number of other disciplines including various styles of kung fu and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu." He's trained in Hapkido, Shotokan, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, kickboxing.
@@JSabh Wesley Snipes doesn't have any fights or championships because acting pays well. Same for Michael Jai White. Hell, even Joe Rogan isn't getting in the cage when he clearly loves the sport. Not saying Rogan wouldn't have won, but martial arts has been around longer than either of these guys have existed and different styles have been affective for centuries. MMA is a few decades old. It's not the only way a man can be formidable.
@frankp7270 literally look it up on RU-vid “Joe Rogan TKD” , or google his 2-1 Amateur KB record, or look up his 10th planet black belt (have to compete to get) Then look up Wesley snipes lol get back to me when you find something other than the fact that he “trains” which is just padwork + light sparring at best
Joe's been a fighter for 30 years living & breathing the culture. Fear factor, podcasts & comedy standup we're side gig's. Joe's probably the closest you could get to being MMA match fit, just due to training.... Please, Snipes has been a martial artist actor for 30 years..... Joe would KILL HIM!
@@z0s1a73 Let's get real for a second, Joe stopped training due to headaches and lived as a martial arts tragic. He's one of my fave commentators ever but sometimes he's so biased he ruins it. Taekwondo doesn't get a lot of respect out there, and i say this as a guy about Joe's age who's been teaching TKD since 1992.
Lmao...don't clown around. Rogan is a blackbelt in jujitsu and won 2 championships. Grandmaster is no joke to average guy but definitely not tops at championship

Karate alone will do zero against an all around fighter. Hapkido is a joke. If Joe got ahold of him one single time it would be over. Never mind his stand up, if you aren't versed in jj then you get choked out. Joe is a bjj black belt.
@@groowanderer I think Rogan would’ve won, but I disagree that all of Snipes’ training were worthless. We don’t know if Snipes was training bjj either. We don’t know Snipes’ side of the story. It would’ve been a really enticing fight to see that’s for sure.
@@groowanderer hes not an all roudner fighter. he was a kick boxer. he started training in other form for this match. but that not his base. wesley could also train other form for this match as well. but at it core it taekwondo vs karate/hapkido. at the end of the day, it still just a celebrity match. Lol this video is stupid asf 😂 Joe rogan literally said himself that he’s a horrible fighter and that hitting a bag is way different than an actual fight … not to mention in his sparring footage he literally hates being hit anywhere
@@tankwfw Bro go watch Joe on a heavy bag, he might have the scariest spinning back kick on Earth. GSP sought him out to teach him, it's super legit. Plus he is a tank.

They are probably about equal as far as striking goes since Snipes is a black belt in karate and Rogan is a black belt in taekwondo. On the ground though Rogan would dominate, he's got a black belt in BJJ and I don't think Snipes has any experience on the ground at all.

@@mysty0 I know it’s not like the best of the best in terms of actual fighters fighters but it’s just the fact it’s coming from Joe fucken Rogan the dude from fear factor is what makes it even more surprising like “damn joe I didn’t know you were capable of THAT…”
@@mysty0 Agreed. When you learn that spinning kick, and get comfortable with it, the scary part is how much power you can generate without really trying hard, especially if you are a big guy. I RARELY used it in sparring because 1. As a big guy, it's not the fastest kick and it is quite situational; you would never open with a spinning side kick. 2. When you fully commit to the kick, it is not the easiest to control.
Joe rogan has never fought a real fight in his life. Hes a commentator and an old fear factor judge thats it. Just bc u can throw some kicks at a dummy doesnt mean u can fight.
@@MrStaano he ko'd someone during a taekwando competition. the other guy had to be carried out on a stretcher. Joe stopped competing after that ko. never recovered from that. Kinda like how Hall ko'd his opponents. Did some mental damage on him
I doubt thats why he stopped. After TKD he went heavily into kickboxing which is harder and had more brutal sparringsessions. He stopped that after a while because of the risks of CTE and he wasnt going anywhere with it career-wise. Believe it or not i did TKD too and that spinning back kick is very powerfull. I knock out a dude with that kick once. Right on the liver spot with body protection on. They guy came forward and i caught him. Didnt even land with full force and the guy dropped like he got shot. 😁😁@@-toadstoolicious-9851

Facts. And little Joey was trying to get into the type of shape that Wesley Snipes already in and trying to have the dedication and discipline that Snipes already had. He's the wanna be tough guy that says if you give me 6 months to train really hard I could beat pro boxer or mma fighter.
