The reason people in India were mad about the tiger being killed is because - 1. Hunting is 100% illegal in India. 2. It was a tigress, and she was pregnant. The government had immediate plans in place to capture her and transfer it to the zoo, so that the cubs could be raised. But a richfuck (not under threat from the tigress) went out of the way privately, and shot the tigress illegally. Its significant because tigers have low populations in India, and the reason of conflicts is high human populations, and not the other way around.

From my limited understanding, a tiger is looking to just go for a vital area like the neck and end you quickly and easily. They're typically not going to rip you to pieces and beat you with your own limbs like a gorilla probably would. I would take a tiger over a bear in a heart beat too.

There’s a politician who bought 45 tigers and brought them to the coliseum to fight and another politician did the same but he brought 45 Lions. At the end of the month after all the fighting 24 tigers survived while only 4 lions were left. The tigers who survived made it through their injuries and the ones who didn’t make it were due to the lions giving them a hard wound that’s very hard to heal from. Usually tigers will only attack if your looking away as they don’t want to risk it as in the wild they can’t hunt injured but when the tigers figure out that we’re easier prey they’ll start hunting humans especially if the tigers are injured.
My uncle is the type of guy who asks random questions like this all the time. His stance on this, was that a (lion, rather) would go for the neck quickly and then eat you. A gorilla however, would beat you until you weren't putting up any kind of resistance and then would use you as a toy or some sort of experiment. He said not only would you be beat within an inch of your life, you would have a gorilla finger in every orifice in your body. Because y'know us primates are inquisitive.

The tiger seems like the best way to go. It's a natural predator that knows through experience how to take down prey. The ordeal would be over fairly quickly. Gorillas on the other hand are mostly peaceful herbivores. I'd expect it to beat something a deterrent so in the scenario you'd be left bloody and bruised.

Male tigers in India (Bengal tigers) can get as heavy as 320 kg and and reach a head and body length of 130 inches. They are bigger especially in northern parts of India and in Nepal.
Funny how they say "Lion is king of the jungle" but a Lion does not even live in a jungle, not to mention the Male Lions which everybody says "my spirit animal" is basically useless and lazy as its only real purpose is to protect the cubs while the FEMALE lion goes out and hunts in teams.. A TIGER however is INDEPENDENT/does NOT need a team, is bigger, stronger, faster, heavier with much superior sized claws, teeth and bite strength, OH and it just so happens to live in the Jungle too. 1) You can't kill the tigers in India, not even if you're a gunman working for the forest department. Even man eater tigers are mostly tranquilized, and they transfer them into captivity. (Sometimes villagers became angry and poison tigers) 2) In the 18th and 19th centuries, India had 100k tigers, but within 2 centuries, it became just under 1k. So now the government is trying to save them, and that's why tiger populations in India have trippled within 15 years. India currently has 70% of global tiger populations. 3) Tigers mostly don't kill humans. Out of 2800 tigers in India, only 10-12 became man eaters within the last 10 years. Mostly, they lost some body part ( e.g. neils, teeths etc), and it's hard for them to kill other wild animals, so they attack humans. In the early 19th century, due to diseases like plague people used to discard bodies in jungles. Once they eat them, some of them become man eater.
