This is my absolute favourite Joe Satriani performance of all time. His solo here is absolutely perfect, the way it just builds up over & over & over & becomes more intense is unbelievable... You can see he was totally absorbed by the moment & improv as well, blows my mind every time.

How could you say that? This guy is amazing. He's been playing for 40 years and there is nothing wrong with his timing. he slows it down to give it a different feel and you should know that. Very few people could pull that song off with "perfect timing", but if anyone can, he can.

Being so good as he is all this fast picking is in disguise of effects that the electric guitar offers. You have to watch Paco de Lucia or Vicente Amigo playing a raw flamenco guitar with less room to flaw to see what is perfect playing

+Miguel Mattos vc fala em tecnologia, mas em 88 o Joe já tava tocando umas músicas muito fodas com uns captadores não tão fodões quanto os de hj, nem caixa. Fora que "tears in the rain" por exemplo é uma música no violão. Concordo com vc , só pra complementar o seu comentário que eu comentei ;)

Joe Satriani's performance is spectacular by itself. So sad they ruined the video inserting psychedelic visual effects. I love the music piece, but would have loved the video if it was faithful to the real experience of a live concert, without destroying some of the most intense moments with those imposed visual effects.

He has NEVER said he is no longer with Peavey. He said he was looking for a different tone for Chickenfoot, and the JVM delivered that tone. He is still with Peavey, he just uses Marshalls with Chickenfoot.

This is My Favorite song off the Professor Satchafunkalis and the Musterion of Rock Album. My Future daughter's middle name will be Andalusia. And Satch is my Favorite Artist. The Video in this..... makes me so sad. I hope Satch isn't disappointed. I still gotta buy it though. Cuz Satch Live is too good not to buy. Haha I was wondering if he could make the life performance any more ridiculous than the studio version which was just about 8 minutes of amazingness. He succeeded. But the psychedelic stuff really takes away from it. I wanna see: Joe's hands, the band and maybe the crowd. Anyway, amazing song!
