@estacadugan it's not even the same type of music/guitar they play, so you can't really compare Paco De Lucia with Satriani, Vai or Gilbert... but I agree with you, Concierto De Aranjuez played by Paco de Lucia is pure genius

check out crushing day. There's sweeping but it doesn't sound good with his fingers ;p There's also a fast picking section ther and he surely can do it but everyone knows that Satch is a LEGATO KING so I don't really care if he can sweep unless I hear it

his snapping to the beat at the beginning felt so off time, but he didn't seem to notice, so I'm guessing that's the way it's supposed to be :P He ought to be able to play it slow. When writing fast licks, I always start it slow so I know where the sounds are coming from.

Yeah, he CAN sweep, but it isn't really sweeping like the other virtuosos can and do, at least in this song anyway. Nobody can touch him for legato. Although, Guthrie Govan could give him a run for his money.

If i talk about a master heavy guitarrist i talk about Alex Scolnik, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Darrel. but i prefer to talk you about Paco De Lucia for use like a simple example about how to play like a genius. Delicate, disciplinated , original and real legend. I really dont belive that joe satriani obtain permission to play master clasic pieces like "COncierto de Aranjuez". he may be ask to maestro Rodrigo to play this piece....

Love Joe, love most of his stuff, but.........really....I just don't understand this song. I like the majority of it, but I absolutly hate the first part and the end part. IMO it's sounds just too friuty.

@pranasun7 by the way, you say "stupid" in a simple coment beacouse you are learning "Always With Me" and you are frustrated, but you dont have to be angry with me. the style of satriani is very childhood oriented people. So heavy, no feeling...to much taping... to much limitations. I desire the best for you my little.
